Argoman comes to a Portland theater for the first time on September 22nd, 2012 with three showings (1:40pm, 5:05pm, and 9:05pm). Roger Browne and Michael Forest (Apollo on Star Trek, Cast Away) share stories about the film, their experiences working in European cinema in the 60’s, and answer questions from the audience. The crew of Dorado Films pulled together all their resources to bring this classic film to the big screen and have Roger visit Portland for the first time. This affordable event will have door prizes and prize drawings at each showing with unique merchandise.
Roger Browne had been retired from his film career for the past 32 years. His children knew nothing of his past as one of the most beloved and diverse actors in European cinema. They recently discovered their father’s acting career and are looking forward to seeing one of his most notable films on the big screen.
“They were very young when they were born, they couldn’t have understood,” Roger mentioned in an interview with Dorado Films. “We were too busy raising them then talking all about the past. We never hid it, it just never came up that much.” They are interested now!
Dorado Films is dedicated to releasing films that have been forgotten or neglected by the larger distribution companies. We have been restoring films and bringing them to fans since 2001.

Oh yeah. This is the gen-u-ine real deal, and I would dig it so bad. Wasn’t there an Ironman non-animated TV series around that time?
I would love to check this out. Sounds like a lotta fun! =)
Sounds like a great flick
Wow! A star studded event! Can you please invite me? : )
I have to see this film, Argoman was my dog’s name! Dad must have been a fan.
Sounds like my kind of movie!
I’m a comic book illustrator, and have never seen this. Looks hilarious!
This Looks like FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!!!!
If selected, the original viewer of the original movie of the original star will also be in attendance!
Argoman saved me from the clutches of the evil Nougat when I was a child. I would love the opportunity to see the film and thank him in person.
I’d like to win tickets because 60′s Batman-style camp is super-fun to watch!
Argoman has been an important role model and a strong influence for me throughout my life.
