Run Like Hell is a Halloween-themed race that sees participants dress out in full costume for a run through Portland’s urban parks and along its waterfront areas along the Willamette River. Run Like Hell has become a Portland Fall tradition, come see why!
Last year, more than 5,000 runners and walkers crossed the finish line in all three races at the Fall running of Portland’s Run Like Hell Half Marathon, 10K & 5K. Most were dressed in Zombie costume as part of the theme. The theme for the 2012 Run Like Hell is Super Heroes! Dress as your favorite super hero or make up your own! Capes, tights and bright colors are encouraged. Get to work on your costumes with your friends, we are! This year’s race beneficiary is ALS Association, Washington and Oregon Chapter.

Just ran the PDX marathon last week. This sounds a lot cooler!
I ran the half before and credit this race for saving.me from getting.lost driving on barbur Blvd recently. I’d love to explore the 10k or 5k since I’m too much of a blob to do thr half.right now! :)

I am running like hell lately on my own, might as well look like a super hero and join 5,000 of Portland’s best!
I was discharged from my job last month after 9 years. Which has been very depressing. Running has always been my greatest outlet, and it just makes me feel better. I keep saying, “Tomorrow, I’ll hit the pavement.” Winning these tickets would give me motivation to get moving and allow me a chance to check out some area schools. Pick Me! Pick Me!
I really want to run this 5k! However I am saving money for school at the moment, so it would be so great if I could win the tickets! It would be my Halloween experience since I unfortunately work on Halloween night.
