As the live storytelling scene continues to grow in Portland, there’s only one place to go for the sexy kind of stories your hot and horny little ears desire. The Mystery Box Show returns to the Brody Theater on Thursday, October 25th at 7:30pm. Five new storytellers will share their true tales of sex and sexuality, revealing hilarious and intimate details before an eager audience.
Fresh from their fully-packed appearance at Wordstock, The Mystery Box Show offers a safe space for sex-positive stories. Discussion of taboo topics are important in breaking down social stereotypes, stigmas, and fears and hearing about other peoples’ struggles and triumphs is a great way to connect and learn from each other. Audiences have reacted positively and clamored for more stories, often approaching storytellers after the show to offer their appreciation for being so bold.
The Mystery Box Show is a live storytelling series with one simple focus: Real people confessing their true stories of sex and sexuality, creating a unique and intimate bond between storyteller and audience. Storytellers share tales of awkward first times, sexy one-night stands, kinky explorations, and dark fantasies come true. With a primary focus on entertainment, it’s often surprising how touching and heartfelt these stories can be while other stories may inspire listeners to chase after recently-awakened desires.
