The 3rd annual Night of the Living Ales is the ultimate Halloween extravaganza designed around everything that makes Portland and Halloween great – craft beers, booze, burlesque, costume contests, go-go dancers and the album release for local hometown favorite Boy Eats Drum Machine.
Taking place Friday October 26th under a large tent on 7th and E. Burnside outside of Burnside Brewing Co. NOTLA celebrates everything crafty and fun about Halloween from special cocktails at the full bar to elaborate fun decor by Bloke designs, killer music from Boy Eats Drum Machine and unique hand-crafted beers you wont find anywhere else from the likes of Burnside Brewing, Oakshire Brewing, Upright Brewing, Ninkasi Brewing, Bushwhacker Cidery, Lompoc Brewing and more.
Guests can expect the best entertainment for their $10 imaginable:
-Live music from the likes of Boy Eats Drum Machine who releases his latest – The Battle, at NOTLA.
-Sexy performances from the Sinferno Go-Go Dancers Gwen, Luka, Melody and Tyger.
-3 different costume contests each with a different theme and more chances to win great prizes.
-Crazy unique craft beers like:
Almond Joy from Burnside Brewing, a London-style Porter brewed with dark Belgian Chocolate, toasted almonds and toasted coconut.
Vanilla Jack from Oakshire Brewing, a one-off vanilla bean version of Oakshire’s Chocolate Pumpkin Porter.
Upright/Bushwhacker one-off blend of un-aged Fantasia ale from Upright blended with a Perry cider from Bushwhacker Cidery.

I’d love to win because I have been looking forward to attending this for a while now! Halloween is my favorite time of the year and I love making the absolute most of it. Unfortunately, after losing my job and being unemployed for four months, I am not able to afford to buy the tickets anymore. :( Therefore, I’d be ECSATIC if I won! I went to this last year and it was great. The beer was truly awesome and I loved the dancers. This event is the anniversary my girlfriend and I celebrate, and I can’t wait to go again (this time bringing about half a dozen friends).

Great Beer topped with amazing unique brews, go go dancers, festive atmosphere… This is why WE MOVED TO PORTLAND!!! (less than a 1/2 mile from you guys) Plus, we got Day of the Dead costumes ready to Rock & Roll!

I have a giant, 8 ft-something robot suit powered by an octopus I want to show off. Lights, sounds, and threats to humankind. Also, I want to test a tube that lets me drink beers with one of my robot fingers. I imagine terrorizing patrons and causing chaos for most of the event…but I spent all my money making the costume. It would be pretty great to go with my dead sea captain girlfriend and rustle up some scares.
