This would be such a sweet event to attend and winning these passes would be the only way for me to go! I’m in the specialty foods business but I never get to go to any of the high end events. Please pick me! Thanks.
Why would I like to win? Did you see thos pictures? That looks good. And I won’t be able to go otherwise.
I’d love to sample these dishes
My boyfriend and I just got engaged and this would be an AWESOME way to celebrate!!
I’m not going to wine but I really really want to win (See what I did there? It was clever…plus jokes are always funnier when you explain them)
Everything about this event sounds amazing…
What a fun way to start putting on the winter padding and to kick off a wonderful, food-filled holiday season!
If it’s anything like the wine and seafood festival in Portland it will be amazing. We bought so much wine we needed a hand truck to wheel it out!! Would love to go and spend more money on wine! My collection is running out :)
My mom is coming to visit me for the first time since I moved to Portland. I want to show her the amazing cuisine that is offered here. As a college student I’ve never been able to give her anything that really shows the appreciation I have for her supporting me, and this would be an amazing way to thank her.
I JUST got back from paying $450 to have my car fixed. I really wanted to go but it is not in the cards unless someone finds me deserving to win. Please o please :) thank you
I would love(!) to win these tickets. Please! :)
Nom nom nom. Please satisfy my noms.
I would so love to win these passes, to discover and indulge in food and spirits that are made right here in the Paciific Northwest. I believe in supporting local sustainability , this is such a good idea!
What a feast and culinary experience. Unfortunately right now I could not afford to go if I do not win tickets.
I would like to expand my knowledge about wine and speak with the wineries about their grape selections, sustainable practices and personal tastes. I would love to meet with such a huge verity of culinary artists as well, the flavors, aromas and energy would be exhilarating!
I would love an opportunity to meet and taste such a diverse selection of food and wine. Cheers!
Erica
I graduated from Western Culinary Institute in 2010 and just moved back to Portland to open my own food cart downtown. I would love to win tickets and feed my inner foodie and see what new and exciting food chefs have been coming up with in the NW while I’ve been away! Pick me for the tickets please… Thanks = )
Cheese me! (Plz)
I’m a foodie and would love to explore different food places in the nw!
I am a college student studying sustainable horticulture and would love to see what is taking root in the local food scene of Portland. I don’t have much money as of right now to support these type of events but would be utterly grateful to be able to attend!!
Well, I happen to LOVE pate… and wine!
Mmmmm Pate’
Pate’ happens
What great date night this would make! Mmmmmm!
My fiance is in the brewing industry. He would love to go, but we are low on funds right now. Also, we just got engaged, and it’s my birthday! This would be an incredible surprise for him, and a great way to celebrate. Thanks!
I was asked recently “what is your biggest downfall food” my response was “the stuff on a plate” I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE food! And did someone say wine? What goes better with good food than good wine? This would be an amazing event to attend. Maybe if I get these tickets, I wont have to go to the Gwar concert :)
I was just told to come here and try to win these tickets because my old lady would rather attend this than the Gwar concert. Little does she know, this is the day after. So if I could win these then she would be happier about going to my event. Besides 2 nights where she doesn’t have to cook? I would be a hero.
I’d love to find out about all the great wines the area has to offer!
Finally an event as sophisticated as I am. It looks wonderful!
Amazing event. I want to go because this would be the only chance I have to eat fancy food.
My girl would like to go to this…and I would like to take her.
This will be a taste of Portland. To see the creative love of good food paired with quality northwest wines will inspire the creative in people and solidify their appreciation of the great northwest. Yes, we are too blessed to be stressed.
Share the message often.
My husband and I are new to Portland. This would be a great way to learn about the food scene here! Thanks for this giveaway.
I am a huge foodie on a tight budget! This would be such a special treat to win tickets too!
I am coming into Portland for a long weekend from San Diego. It would be amazing to be able to take the girl friend to this event as well!! We both enjoy great food and drink.
YUMMY! I want to experience being a true Northwest Foodie and what better way then through local cuisine and wine? Oh please! :0)
I would love to win tickets to send my inlaws who will be visiting from out of town (Tucson, AZ). It is my husband’s father’s bday and I think it would be a fantastic gift to give to him. They love all Portland food, wine, and rain. They would just love it! Thank you for the opportunity!
This would be such an amazing and educational once in a lifetime (for me) event that I really would be honored to go to, soo PLEASE choose me!
My boyfriend just moved to Portland and I would love to take him to this to show him what our city has to offer! Please!
Oh man I’ve always wanted to go to this. Would love to win the tickets!
This is amazing! Can’t wait to go:) Eould love to taste the wine and food pairings!!
My boyfriend and I are major foodies, but we’re on a tight budget this month (moving, new jobs, etc) so this would be a great way to experience some great food and wine!
There are few other things in the world so perfect as the meeting of great food and wine. It would be an honor to attend.
I’d like to attend because I’m a HUGE foodie! And I never win anything!
It’ll allow me a break from drinking OE.
FOOD & WINE … both favorites
There are limited opportunities in my life to eat pate.
fud is gud. lulz.
Love Food. Love Wine. Love the Northwest. Sounds like the perfect event!
This sounds delicious!
Any time there is good food and good wine, I’m there.
Food and wine make me uber happy – count me in!
I just moved here from Florida and I want to taste all the great Pinots that this area is known for. Pick me, please!
Food, Wine, Beer, and Spirits?! What’s not to like?!
What a wonderful lineup of great distilleries, wineries and restaurants! I would love to attend this amazing event. I’m having a total hip replacement in December and won’t be able to get out much after my surgery, so it would be a lot of fun to attend the Festival with my wife (my caretaker after surgery :))!
I like food. I like wine. the end.
I have some rural Canadian friends in town that I have been bragging to about all the fine foods and beverages this glorious area has. This would be the perfect opportunity to have them experience exactly what I have telling them.
I’d like to win tickets because this is an event I’d otherwise not be able to attend. I’m recently back in the NW after a stretch in SoCal and would like to find out more about what’s going on in the local food scene.
you had me at pâté.
Timing couldn’t be better for this event… I’ve got someone coming up from S. California who never misses an opportunity to one-upsmanship me everytime I mention something outstanding about the food or wine up here. – I’d love the chance to put this wide variety of our gastronomic delights where his mouth is!
I’d like to go with my fiance ’cause we’re overdo for a great date night!
because it sounds lovely
I love pate and oysters and duck.
This sounds incredible. I would probably pee myself from excitement if I won! ( note to self: bring hange of clothes for Monday :))
Yes Please!!–My Husband would be thrilled–but would never spend the money.
I would love a reason to get dressed all fancy.
This would be so awesome to try these different expertly prepared food and finely tuned drinks. Cheers!
gone the last three years, would love to make it four years in a row!
I would love to enjoy this with someone special. We both enjoy cooking and would love to try something new!
I live by the Lloyd center, so I could drink lots of wine and walk home. One less drunk driver on the road!
My Seattle friend thinks PDX doesn’t bring it when it comes to food. I don’t know what “It” is, but he definitely hasn’t been to this festival.
I’m quite the pate animal… But promise to behave if you choose to send tickets my way!
My sister and I are what you would call “wine snobs” and food who doesn’t love food?? She has a baby and toddler so I’m sure she would more then appreciate some time away. My brother currently works at this hotel and I am always hearing about all the amazing events that go on there and would love go for some once.
Food, wine, beer and cheese! That’s why I’d love to go!
I love to eat and I need to pack on the pounds before winter!
I love to eat – Everything sounds so good! :)>
Would love, love, love to go! Please and thank you :)
Because the doctors said I only have 10 days left to live, and the only thing that would cure me… *cough* … would be to attend a food & wine festival, preferably one held at a moderately-priced hotel chain. *cough**cough*
Sounds like a perfect weekend event, yum and yum.
Thanks Stan for sharing, do something for that cough.
I also have a fever, and it’s a fever for more cowbell.
And by cowbell I mean free tickets.
OOOOOO! I want to win this so bad. If I win I’ll be so happy!!!
I would love to attend because I have never been to a wine festival before.
Oh my gosh I have always wanted to go to this, and what a great opportunity to be able to win tickets. Also this is the only way my husband will go with me. We both love food and wine and I have always wanted to try something like this out. Thanks for the chance.
The closest I’ve been to food like this is what I read about in magazines. The opportunity to experience this event would be a thrill!
I’d love to sample these fine foods! I have been learning to cook and this would be great inspiration!
I would love to go the Food and Wine fest this year to try all the yummy wine and the delicious samples. My friends and I have our own makeshift food and wine fest at one of our houses each year and it would be amazing to see the real thing for once!
Pigging out in a classy way? Count me in! In a town full of foodies I solemnly swear that I would taste all there is to taste, with a positive attitude, and a hot date (well in my eyes at least!). I have wanted to go to this event for years- I would be super happy to attend!
This falls under the category of “Things I’d really love to do, but sadly couldn’t afford”. PDXPipeline could change all of that!
Of course I’d love to go. New in town and checking things out!
I will be a pleasant guest at this event, you’ll be glad I came! :)
After a rough week of therapizing the youth of Portlandia, this poor social worker needs a good wine and food break!
I’ve heard that Portland is a “foodie” city. Unfortunately, on my budget I can barely afford a decent cart, let alone a sampling of our city’s more elegant gastronomic delights. If I am to become truly acculturated to my new home, I *must* hob and nob with the elite, not chomp and grind with the hoi polloi. Please give me this chance to raise my societal intelligence quotient!
Cheese is my favorite food in the entire world. PLEASE let me go, I’m currently cheese-less and I have no cheese money in my budget!
Feed Me Please!!
I haven’t lived in portland very long and would love to be able to try a variety of this city’s wonderful restaurants!
foodie desperate for relief
from her pubcrawl neighborhood
longing to savor the delicacy
of new, different and unique
bless me with opportunity
all endeavors flavored with gratitude
I love our local food and drink scene. Especially the distilleries
say no to panda soup!
I’ve got a friend to share all the tasty offerings.
I love it when I have a reason to play dress-up!
I promise to be nice, sample everything, learn the recipes, and avoid drinking too much wine. Well, I’ll be nice at the very least…
I drink a glass of wine a day for it’s health benefits. Glass two is for my dance moves.
I would love to win!!
I would love to take my wife to this! Plus we wouldn’t need to find a sitter as the kids are going to grandparents. Sounds like a good night for some wine, dine, and 69!
I’d like to attend to get my foodie on :)
Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
The last time I won something was 1989. It was a coloring contest at Perfect Look. Winning tickets to this event just might top that experience!
Gourmet bites? Ah very nice!
i want to win because food and wine events are some of the best. there are meals and food prepared in ways i have never seen and wine that i will search for!
Because I want to celebrate my 25th birthday (November 10) in style!
When I worked in the ugly corporate world I could afford to eat delicious fancy food. Since I grew a conscience and now work in a local community friendly sustainable industry my budget has shrank but my passion for delicious food lives on. Winning tickets is the only way I could afford to go.
I’d like to attend because I just moved back to the Pacific Northwest, and I need to rediscover all the amazing food & wine here!
Sounds AMAZING! I love food and wine. Enough said :)
I heart food and wine!
Who wouldn’t want to go to this amazing event? Well, I guess some people don’t like gourmet food and beer and wine and spirits, but I sure do!
Wine? meh. Food and beer? Yeah!
Because my boyfriend works like hell and deserves to be treated like a king but I can’t afford it right now. And we both like to drink wine and stuff our faces with great food.
I heard this is an amazing event! A great way to celebrate my 50th Birthday!
Food… wine… food and wine… two of my favorite things.
Omg this would be an amazing treat!
What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday! My hubby is going to school and I’m on disability so we don’t get to attend functions like this due to our limited finances. It would be such a treat to win these tickets. Thank you for doing this wonderful, wonderful giveaway.
Because I love gourmet bites, wine, beer, and spirits!
This sounds fantastic! I like food and wine. Plus it’s near my work and so simple to take the Max and not worry about drinkin’/drivin’
I am healing from surgery and just getting back to being able to do things. This would be a nice break from being on bed rest for the past few weeks not to mention I need to gain some weight back. Lost way to much with surgery!
I’m a broke foodie! Send me, please!
I want to win because we love food and wine and best of all–our kids are out of town for the weekend!
I <3 great food & drank!!! Nuffsaid! :)
never been to this event and its right in my back yard. i might even wear a parrot costume.
I’m just finished chemo, and can finally enjoy food again! I’d love to celebrate with a feast :-)
Just moved to the area, winning tickets would be a great way to get out and about.
Love food, the NW, and wine, so guessing I should go.
I would love to go, this is the kickoff to my 40th Birthday weekend and I’d love to try some new vineyards and resturants!
Would love to go!
One word. Wine.
To win this tickets would make my year. To say this has been a tough year would be an understatement….chronic stress, and facing challenges like never before has been the theme for me (& mine) this year of 2012.
I have just celebrated my 50th birthday on October 24th, to which no one remembered, yet it was understandable given the current state of the economy….were I to win this tickets, hope would spring eternal……thank-you for considering me.
I hope I’m not too late to be considered! please help a broke college student out….please.
I would love to be considered. My sister owns a winebar and she is always looking for new wines. I work for Nike and would love to find out new venues for events. I need to be there ;-)
I would live to attend but can’t afford it unfortunately. Thanks!
it sounds all so amazing! help it be my fairy tail come true
Having the privilege to attend this function would be such a wonderful weekend experience! Definitely a new one at that. My love for wine is something fairly new, so I have yet to attend a tasting. It would be so great for this to be the first!
I would love to attend this event for any reason anyone else would, however I have two more reasons on top. I just moved to Portland in the past few days in high hopes that I will get the position with a wine company I have been in contact with here. This event would be extremely helpful in widening my knowledge of local wines in the area, as well as giving me the opportunity to learn about other restaurants and breweries that make portland the city it is talked up to be. I need this experience to brighten my view on this amazing city I’m beginning to call home!
I will eat everything!
What is this Oregon “beer” you speak of? I would like to try (if it even really exists).
Woot! First, I love that I live in a city that celebrates an array of good wine and food. It says a great deal about what matters in Portland’s culture. Second, I have a background in the culinary arts that began as an epicurious child. Sampling delectable hors d’oeuvres and savory wines . . . I can’t think of a better way to enjoy myself as a Portlander! Winning tickets would send me and my former chef roomie over the moon :)
I would live to do something like this!! I have never gone to anything like this before. I am always thinking about other people and doing this for others. Would be nice to get something back from all the hard work I do for people. Hope I can win! :))
