Ok now this sounds like a real fun way to spend an evening. I’ve never been thru the World Forestry Center and think this would be a perfect time to go. Please pick me!
Would like to win because it sounds groovy and I have never won anything on the pipeline
I have to let my inner forester OUT! This event sounds awesome. You had me at lumberjack cocktails. World Forestry Center, I can’t quit you.
Night At The Museum? I’d love to win tickets for that! I want to find out if the exhibits come alive at night.
OMG I have always want to go to this event. Maybe I get lucky and will get to be there before I leave Portland for good.
I actually can’t imagine anything more fun than spending an evening with Lumberjacks! I would love to win tickets!
Im a lumberjack and that’s OKAY!!!!
I want to win because I have never been to the Forestry Center and would love to go. I am also always dressed like a lumberjack so…. It sounds like the best time one can have in November.
this looks like alot of fun please pick me for Museum by Monlight.
it will be just like being a worker in the logging industry who performs the initial harvesting and transport of trees for ultimate processing into forest products.
Old School Lumberjacking is difficult, dangerous, intermittent, low-paying, with primitive living conditions, but the men built a traditional culture that celebrated strength, masculinity, confrontation with danger, and resistance to modernization.
I am more apt to enjoy a cocktail while sporting an overpriced flannel!
Would Love to win then I can get more of my gang together in flanels, jeans, and boots. We would have a BLAST!
i just got wood reading about this.
Cause I’m a lumberjack
Get away from the internet. I’m cutting it down right now.
I love to be outside and enjoy the Pacific NW forests snd would love to learn more about the history . Never had the chance to go to the forestry center. Sounds like a really fun evening!
I’ve only gone to the Forestry Center with groups of kids on field trips, would love a chance to go as an adult with adults.
Looks like fun!
Sawin’ logs and topping trees is what I love to do,
With my swedish fiddle and tin pants,
I’ll leave some macaroni for you.
With a big heave and and a loud “Ho!”
We’ll have a dance floor for a dosey doe.
So lets wash down the conks with dehorn and bring your nosebags you buckers!
I’ll see you in the mulligan car!!
I am such a lumberjack.
Went to one similar had a blast.
I can’t wait to ride the rapids lumberjack style!
Good excuse to add plaid to my wardrobe.
I would love to win because I’m a lumberjack.
(And I’m okay.)
This would be a great birthday present for the wannabe lumberjack in my life! Please please!! :-)
My foresters friends and I will be there!
My “Babe” and I would love to harvest tickets to this event.
I want to go to this because my boyfriend and I are both under 5 foot 5, and both under 120 pounds, and the idea of us dressed up as lumberjacks is hysterical.
Shall I sharpen axe in preparation? J/k. I’ll practice my log-rolling instead.
I’m a lumberjack and I’m Ok, I sleep all night and I work all day…I cut down trees, I eat my lunch…..
Love the venue and wouldn’t mind pulling out the flannels.
James hardwood should win, but in case he doesn’t, can I be next in line?
I like to pick the wild flowers.
lumberjack is my spirit animal!
My husband is a great “log” roller. I think he should be rewarded with this Timberr-ish evening, don’t you???
I’d like to win ’cause I think this’ll make a very cool and fun double date! Thanks so much!
sounds fun, why not?
Would love to go to this event!
I’m a Lumberjill who would love to take her Lumberjack to this party to hang out and meet some other Stumptown Locals while showing off our Lumberswag!
YAY! This is a party I can get behind! My normal wardrobe is Lumberjill wear … no need to dress up :)
Because I like to stare at that huge floating rock in the sky.
I have so much flannel and could bring my blue ox along
I love lumberjacks! My boyfriend basically looks like one
Wow! I might even have the right outfit.
Yes please! Plaid is my favorite color
I wouldn’t even have to dig too far into the closet to find the garb!
I am the tree chopper. You got a tree? I’ve got an axe. My arms have been replaced with axes. I used to be friends with the trees. But those days are done. I chop for it is all I know. I yearn for the sound of breaking branches as a tree falls to the ground. The thunderous explosion ignites my soul. I have multiple beards. This event is inspired by me. Let me be your guest and all I will reveal the secrets to a fulfilling life.
Chop chop.
I want to win because I’m a true Northwest girl and my poor, neglected lumberjack plaid shirt has been hanging in my closet for way too long!
I will bust out my Danner boots and plastic camping wine glasses for this one! I’m a 3rd generation logger (kinda)!
Of course such an awesome event would happen in PORTLAND! I would love to win these, especially since my boyfriends worked up a badass BEARD for no-shave-November!!
Haven’t been to world forestry yet, I’ve been pining to go there fir some thyme. Wood love to axperience it all!
-lumberjill
