The Motet is very excited to return to Portland and play for the first time at the magnificent Wonder Ballroom! In fact, their last show in P-town was so successful that they are going to make this an extra special occasion and play their Funk is Dead material for the second set of the evening. Yes, that’s right: Set One: Motet….Set Two: Funk is Dead! Also, opening the show will be Portland’s own Excellent Gentlemen.

New to Portland, but love The Dead and the Wonder Ballroom. I have been there to one concert and it is such a great venue. Should be a great event!

Roommate is a huge Dead fan. He jams by himself as the Dead play accompaniment (read: it’s the other way around). It’d be great to go ham…. i mean jam.

wow! motet! motet! motet! i have never heard them do the dead, but it matters not what they play- motet is the pure shizz!
#1. We have a babysitter, which on a Friday night is pretty unheard of in our household!
#2. Dancing the night away with my handsome man to some of my favorite tunes would make for a downright happening Friday night.

Saw Motet throw this down at the Aladdin last time they were in town. It’s not to be missed. Unfortunately, with Christmas around the corner, I’m forced to miss this due to funding issues….well, unless you pick me as a winner of course!
I would love to attend this show. Two of my friends are having birthdays there tonight, but I don’t have tickets and am not sure I can get to the venue before it’s sold out….didn’t get paid until today :(
