I’d like to attend because I need an updated memory and winter formal photo. Wore a stretchy black dress from Ross and had a super-awkward dinner at Stanford’s–YIKES!! Don’t know if it gets much worse than that!

  10. Ryan Leavenworth December 5, 2012 at 21:22 #

I would love to go to this to repay my 17 year-old self for the extremely boring prom of my senior year of high school. This will be much better for 3 reasons.
    1. The final song will not be by Shania Twain
2.Breakside beer is a hell of a lot better than Mt. Dew and Pepsi
    3. Since I would be going with my wife, there’s a good chance that I’ll actually be getting laid!

Plus: I feel kind of like Don Draper when I get to get drunk in a nice suit!

  11. Casey December 5, 2012 at 22:00 #

    Free = more fun!

  12. griz December 6, 2012 at 12:36 #

  21. Jenny December 6, 2012 at 16:35 #

Because my freakin lame lesbian buddies once again ixnayed my ball gown theme for our annual New Years party and I wanna GLAM IT UP dammit! They’d more likely volunteer to pick up my dog’s poo than put on a dress.

The only Winter Formal I get to attend is the one at the high school at which I teach where I have to chaperone. Please let me have a little teenage fun-minus the teenagers, thank you.

  29. Brandy December 6, 2012 at 20:36 #

My husband and I have been married for 8 years (just 2 days after the Formal!) but we have NEVER been to a FORMAL. They have been offered many times over the 12 years we have been together in the cities we lived BUT 0% have been of interest to him UNTIL NOW! Winning tickets would be a Christmas Miracle/Great Anniversary Gift/Insanely Awesome… and I have funds to get him a cool tie (that highlights my hotness!). Thanks! :)

  30. DeDe December 6, 2012 at 22:29 #

Can anyone say Date night with out kids! Beer, formal, dancing and with a Hot husband… Yes please (:

  31. Santa December 6, 2012 at 23:15 #

I just bought Ron Tonkin’s red cashmere evening jacket at Goodwill and it’s hissing at me from the closet, “Take me dancing!”

  32. Stony Curtis December 7, 2012 at 08:55 #

All good things begin with “B”… Beer, Bottles of Beer, Barrels of Beer, Ballroom Blitz… !

  45. Ted December 9, 2012 at 20:24 #

I want to take my beautiful wife to this and visit the photographer, since the photographer at my prom refused to take a picture of my date and I because he told me, “your parents will hate that pose.” Fail.

Me, me, pick ME! Want to treat the hubby to get him out of the house. I’m on his list ever since my mom moved in with us (to our dining room) a month ago, and I spent too much money getting her organized.

  52. laura December 13, 2012 at 22:16 #
