Because I need a reason to wear my skin tight ski suit with the crotch cut out. Sup.

  2. K.S. Bullock December 6, 2012 at 11:25 #

I am a new transplant from NYC and all the Portland locals have great stories about Mt. Hood and its cool tourist attractions. I think it would be great to see what the place has to offer and for the longest time I always wanted to try out ski and/or snowboarding- a task I never tried back east in either upstate NY or when visiting family in New England.

  3. Dougie December 6, 2012 at 11:30 #

My outfit will be a winner

  7. Jeremy December 6, 2012 at 15:08 #

Mt. Hood plus music? What’s not to love?

  8. Tina December 6, 2012 at 15:12 #

Because neon is the only thing!!

  9. Sarah December 6, 2012 at 15:14 #

I haven’t worn a neon windbreaker in a while. Ok, that’s a lie, but I’d still like to go.

  10. preston December 6, 2012 at 15:19 #

Like Calvin Harris said “I got love for if u were born in the 80′s the 80′s” man I really would love a break from my busy day to day life of work school and school work this would be great for my winter break. Please please please.

  11. Amanda December 6, 2012 at 15:21 #

I love snowboarding but don’t have the money to go this season. There is nothing better than being up on the mountain! The party sounds like so much fun. :)

  12. Britt Buckingham December 6, 2012 at 15:27 #

SO excited to party and get ready for ski season…80′s style!!!

  13. Leah December 6, 2012 at 15:30 #

Because I love to ski and it’s just too damn expensive. And my neon clothes have felt abandoned lately.

  14. Jon Pauletto December 6, 2012 at 15:44 #

Wow, this looks like so much fun! I havnt been up in two years now….

  15. Robin December 6, 2012 at 16:04 #

I really need to rock this event! Not only do I have some awesome gear for this gala event, but I love 80s ski gear so much that for years I’ve been compiling pictures of people who I spy on the mountain wearing said gear! (Secretly taking the pictures, of course!) Let’s party!

  16. Manda December 6, 2012 at 16:07 #

This sounds totally, like radical! I’d like to attend because 1.) I can’t afford lift tickets and 2.) I LOVE silent disco. I enjoyed it so much at Horning’s Hideout this summer that I bought a keyboard and headphones just to funk around in my house with friends. I really want to go to this.

  17. Teal December 6, 2012 at 16:10 #

Please transport me back to the 80′s with some tix :)

  18. Leigh December 6, 2012 at 16:12 #

Not only do I have awesome 80s and 90s style ski gear from the back in the day; I think throwback gear with current technology would be much greater.

I’m surprised that this is Portland’s first silent disco. I’ve been to a few out of town and there’s nothing like ‘em. Wireless headphones along with a ski ticket?! I’m there, hopefully…

  19. Karl December 6, 2012 at 16:36 #

I’ve been looking for anither reason to bust out my neon ski racing gear! I havent rocked it since 92 so it might be a little tight. This will be rad.

  20. matt December 6, 2012 at 16:43 #

because im not a gaper and i dont like gapers

  21. Panda Bear December 6, 2012 at 16:59 #

Please pick me to enjoy all of the above because I’ve been really, really nice this year! (Or naughty, if that’s your game.) I just wanna to fashion and silent disco and skiing, puhleeease!

  22. Andrew December 6, 2012 at 17:12 #

The silent disco alone is going to make this a worthy night out. Plus, can’t go wrong with wicked awesome 80′s ski gear and some Meadows lift tickets! Haven’t been out in awhile, would love to do something so seasonal.

  23. Jordann Anderson December 6, 2012 at 17:17 #

    I need to ride meadows!

  24. Anna December 6, 2012 at 17:55 #

  25. Lee December 6, 2012 at 17:55 #

  26. Amanda December 6, 2012 at 18:36 #

  44. Rachel Henry December 7, 2012 at 13:46 #

My whole life is just like an 80′s ski movie. From my slang to my wardrobe, I live this non-stop. Me going to this party would be the icing on the cake (except I’m not sure if I’m the icing and the party is the cake, or vice-versa).

  59. Matthew December 8, 2012 at 18:16 #

The snow is calling me. I havent rode since Colorado years ago so it’s about time to get on the mountain. My last ride was thru the park and netted me a bloody lip. Revenge!
