Orchestre L’Pow! is wrapping up another year of Big Time! Burlesque in the only way we know how: We’re going to unwrap our presents, on stage with the biggest, most bodacious burlesque show in Stumptown! It’s a celebration of all things wintery, and we are honored to be performing with the amazing dancer and chanteuse from The Great White North, Burgundy Brixx! As it is the “season of giving”, you can be sure your host and MC, Vincent Drambuie will have a number of goodies to hand out from his bag.

An enchanted evening celebrating the various observances of winter is what Orchestre L’Pow! has in store for you. Be it a naughty encounter with Santa, or an homage to the late great Betty Page, the “Big Time! Burlesque Mistletoe Peepshow!” will take you on a ride more thrilling than hitching a lift with Santa himself. Featured performers include Burgundy Brixx (from Vancouver B.C.), Madison Moone, The Infamous Nina Nightshade, Itty Bitty Bang Bang, and internationally renowned burlesque MC, Vincent Drambuie. Music provided by Orchestre L’Pow! – the Northwest’s longest-running burlesque pit band.

On this special night we welcome Vancouver, British Columbia’s “reigning burlesque queen” (Vancouver Magazine), Burgundy Brixx! A professional Burlesque artist since 2006, Burgundy Brixx is also the producer of the wildly successful weekly show, Kitty Nights Burlesque in Vancouver. Since her arrival in Vancouver from New York City in January of 2008, Burgundy has been bringing Vancouver audiences a different lineup of the best professional Burlesque artists in the area and beyond, performing live onstage each and every Sunday night at Vancouver’s Biltmore Cabaret.

A dazzlingly dynamic and elegant performer, Burgundy has been selected as one of eight outstanding burlesque artists to compete for the title of “Queen of Burlesque” at the 2011 New Orleans Burlesque Festival. She was recently a featured solo performer at The 2010 Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas, The 2010 Best of Midwest Burlesk Fest, The 2009 New York Burlesque Festival, The Vancouver Int’l Burlesque Fest, and in Tease-O-Rama’s “Best Of The Best In New Burlesque” roadshow at the beautiful Triple Door in Seattle, and will be featured in the 2011 Colorado Burlesque Festival.

Haven’t had the pleasure of going to a burlesque show for quite a while, a Christmas themed one sounds like the perfect way to spend a Friday night

I recently started dating a guy I’ve known since high school (10 years) we’re still in the puppy phase but because I’m so short on funds he’s been paying for everything and I am running out things that I can do for him that are in my budget. It’d just be great to do this for/ with him.

My wife and I just moved here from North Carolina, and we are so in love with our new city! We have been going out to explore and have been super impressed with the amount of free awesome things to do..It is our first holiday alone together in 5 years so we are trying to live it up, (but stay in our budget of just doing a cross country journey) and celebrate in all the ways we have always wanted to…and Christmas burlesque is absolutely at the top of that list!!!

Please save me! We found out about this show 2 weeks ago and intended to buy tix. I had no idea that the seats would sell out, now there’s just Standing Room Only left. I totally blew it! If you can find it in your hearts to take pity on two fun-loving girls from the Couv, we’d be forever in your debt. This show sounds amazing!
