I used to go to the Appalachians every year around Christmas. Would love to experience a little bit of “home” while getting into the Christmas cheer!

I was blessed to live in the Appalachians up in Flag Pond, TN for a few years. We had a little cottage in the mountains by a stream. I loved it and miss it so much. It would awesome to get to go to this Christmas Celebration. It would take me back to the place I love so much if only for one evening! Please?

Commented once, but it doesn’t look like it went through. :(

Anyways, this would honestly be amazing to see! It is my last holiday in Portland before I graduate and move back home. Being a college student, I am on a limited budget and I always tell myself that I need to go to more things like this since we always did during the holiday’s back home!

It would make my Christmas here in Portland, even more special! Fingers crossed!!

Christmas in Appalachia! Let sing some shape note hymns, do some clog dances, and wander among the mountains… I’d love to go, as I’ve never yet been to the Revels.

I heard a friend on FB say they really enjoyed the Christmas Revels. I would love to win tickets. Our budget is tight, and we’re looking for cheap or free activities. The description of the Christmas Revels that I read on PDX Pipeline really whetted my appetite.

I just moved to Portland to pursue a job opportunity. I will have literally no spending money for the next two months while I catch up on rent and bills.

Although I am cash poor, I did meet an amazing girl who I would like to spend more time with. I was looking at tickets, but I simply cannot afford them. Help me out!
