I’ve been a fan of Nero since their infamous BBC Essential Mix a few years ago! What’s more, I live only a few blocks away from the Convention Center so I’d be one less car in the area. Plus I have no plans for NYE yet and this would make my night!

It’s my 21st birthday and I don’t have anything to do yet! I’d rather be dancing to some of my favorite electronic artists than drinking at the bars anyways.
Because I’m from the middle of nowhere in Montana and I just moved to Portland so I can do badass stuff and this seems like a legit way to bring on 2013! Love Nero and not enough money to visit my family so will be in Portland. I just moved to Portland and holding down two jobs and have yet to go out and have fun. To see Nero live would make me so happy and just really lift my spirits.

I probably won’t win due to my awesome luck in recent events, but if I do, it would definitely brighten up my day. I have been so low on funds, haven’t been able to get out to a show in a very long time. Only two shows I have been to this year have been Love Phenomonon & Big Bang Theory, and that was back in March. I was able to make it to the last Bass Odyssey and that was by far the best way to end 2011, and enter 2012, and I hope I get the same chance to end 2012 the same way, and enter 2013 with great vibes and with all my closest friends.
I been raging for 5 years. My cherry hasn’t been popped since I was 16. Its possible that Nero will pop it once again. If and only if I win these free tickets so I can attend!

I have never celebrated NYE up here in the mainland or even partied on NYE before! I have always done fireworks growing up in Hawaii, so this will be a chance for me to finally get to see how it’s done… Finally! I mean I am am 24 and have been so focused on school and family I haven’t had the chance to let lose and party on NYE! I hear this is where it’s at for the night and would love to have the chance to attend!
I’ve been in a serious, yet chaotic, relationship for three years. We just broke up. We had New Years Eve plans with his friends, which obviously I am no longer invited to attend. So now, last minute, having to try to find new plans, I learn that all of my friends are cramming into a party bus at $60 per person, which even if I could afford, there are no available seats. I am now preparing to spend New Year’s Eve alone, unless of course I am fortunate enough to win tickets to this insanely cool event, featuring one if my favorite artists of all time. Nero is beyond amazing! So I guess we’ll see how my luck turns out. Wasn’t so great this year, hopefully next year I can start my new life with a great adventure. I’ve been helping a friend who lost her home pay for storage, and without scoring free tickets for NYE I will have to choose between continuing to help her, and the depression of being alone at home while others welcome the new year in style.
The reason I know I’m attending is cuz the culture of raves. I say I know I’m going not to be cocky but even if I were not to win I’d still buy my tickets. When it comes to raves it’s not about just meeting your friends or just being there . It’s about living life. Living life to the fullest! I love the culture of LOVE! Everyone are equals. If your raging hard and loving what’s happening and your thirsty you can ask for a drink of water from your brother/sister next to you and they will say sure or give you the bottle! And you can party together. At the events your around people that believe in the music on a deeper level not this sounds good but because the song means something to someone, an event ,an emotion a source of love. It feels good when you have a place to let go and no worries. Somewhere you can be your self and feel as if your part of something bigger. I’m still a baby raver this will be my 4th rave. But I remember my first rave at life in color I was so unsure and so scared and I wondered what was happening…. But tons of feel could tell and I they told me to relax and I was safe in a larger family! I received so many kandis and I’m not a good dancer by any means… But no one cares I could move how ever and fit in!!!!! It’s right! I was in an amazing loving FAMILY!! Now I’m a huge advocate for raves !!! Huge!! I tell all my friends about it and they should go I even buy people’s tickets for them just so they can experience it. And spread the love and hopefully bring new members into the family. The culture of love and family is why I wanna go. And will always continue to go. Thank you for everything you do.

Honestly, I’m new to the area and just getting into the electronic music scene – starting with the DayGlow concert last month at the Convention Center and…..I think I’m hooked now! People are so friendly and these concerts are such an awesome avenue to meet new friends.
If I get these tickets and it’s as amazing as the last one, I think you’ve just made an addict out of me! (The good type of addict, of course)
