  1. Duke December 27, 2012 at 12:46 #

This is a classy but rockin’ event! Not divey and not boring, just like me, lol.

  2. Danielle December 27, 2012 at 13:38 #

I like the theme behind this event- ringing in the new year with a transformative experience. Sounds exactly like what I need.

  3. Angie December 27, 2012 at 14:05 #

This sounds great. I haven’t been in the museum yet because we have only been in Portlandia a few months, but would be really excited to celebrate NYE there. New town, new year, new life!

  4. Julia December 27, 2012 at 14:08 #

Trying to score a nice night out on the town for my hubby and I. He’s putting me through engineering school…this would be a cool night to forget bills and work for him.

  5. JohnE December 27, 2012 at 14:18 #

I won’t get the tickets and will end up in a bar where I’ll meet a woman and we’ll have a drink and she’ll laugh and ask me to set her up with one of my friends. She’ll be sultry and bored because she thinks bored makes her look sophisticated and she’ll drink Scotch. Neat. I’ll kvetch, meet her stare, affecting the urbane and charming escort I yearn to be. She’ll try not to laugh because she’ll want to appear mysterious and aloof, along with sultry. Of course.

We’ll become friends and go to New York and I’ll buy her Uzbekistani food in that little restaurant above the jewelry store on West 45th, then to a dark Russian bar on 48th, lined with giant jars of vodka along the bar. She’ll flirt with me but go home with some guy who has hairy knuckles, named Boris or even Yaremka because it means appointed by god and he looks pretty godlike next to me. I’ll be left at the bar with Anastasiya, drowning her sorrows over her upcoming deportation but since she doesn’t speak English I’ll think she’s making love to me, weeping with joy at the prospect of our impending union.

Look. I don’t want to go to jail for misunderstanding Anastasiya’s intentions, nor to spend my life drinking myself silly in a New York bar. Save me from all that.

I love March Fourth and art! I can’t think of a cooler place to celebrate than the art museum and dancing to such a fun and awesome group. Also, I have never in my life gone to an official New Years party and have always wanted to. The last couple years, we have financially struggled due to me starting my own business (which I am closing Jan 15th) This event would be a great thing to take my mind off all the recent stresses of having to close my dream… Please choose me!

  13. Luis December 27, 2012 at 17:38 #

    2. Suburban housewife needs to do something once a year outside of her home based business, cooking, cleaning, doing the standard charity work, feeding the cat, and watering plants.
    3. you should give JohnE a job writing for you guys. Then next year he can buy his own ticket.
    4. I will promote the heck outta you guys via Facebook and Twitter for your very generous and kind nature

  26. Heidi December 27, 2012 at 18:49 #

I am absolutely inspired by Beloved and truly believe the price is worth it if I had the money to spend. Either way, I will find a creative outlet to bring in the New Year, but I know I would feel so grounded by the love and passion for life that will explode at this celebration – grounding is what I need right now. I know this will be the beginning of a beautiful year. Blessings and smooth preparations as you get ready for the event everyone will remember!

  27. rebecca December 27, 2012 at 18:52 #

I’d love to go to this event but i won’t be attending unless I find a free ticket because I’m broke! I want to go to bring in the new year with all my homies and rejuvenate ourselves while partying with some incredible art!

  28. Mitch December 27, 2012 at 18:55 #

    of course, it’s Peak Experience
    of course, it’s Beloved
    getting activated, each and all!
    see you all soon!

  29. Rosie posie December 27, 2012 at 19:02 #

    Wouldn’t it be nice

  30. Andrea December 27, 2012 at 19:03 #

I met my boyfriend 2 yrs ago on New Year’s Eve. And, I love the hell out of him. So much so, that I’m willing to walk away from our relationship for a bit so we can both transition into something bigger and better. Yup, kinda blows. Was really hoping the world would have just ended on 12/21/12 instead, but that obviously didn’t happen. So, I would love for our last night together to be powerful, spiritual, fun and as epic as our meeting 2yrs ago.
If I don’t go, JohnE should. He needs to be saved ;)

  31. Shawn December 27, 2012 at 19:08 #

Will you folks do a random drawing of everyone who posted comments, or will you pick the comment you like the most? I almost wrote a very clever and funny comment that would of definitely won me the ticket if you are picking based on such criteria. However, I am compelled to be honest instead. I have been considering going to this event, but I want to bring my best friend and she is totally broke. So if I win the ticket, I will give it to her and buy my own ticket. :)

  32. Carlos December 27, 2012 at 19:13 #

I’ve volunteered at a beloved event but can’t at this one, gotta make a special night for my beloved and I :b these tickets would be a blessing. Shine light y’all

  33. Luis December 27, 2012 at 19:21 #

I would love to attend this event. It is definitely one of those events that inspires the heart to open, community to expand, and conscious awareness of love to increase in a way that is shared by many.

I look forward to being present at this event!

  34. Mindi December 27, 2012 at 19:27 #

This sounds fantastic! I’m hoping that 2013 will be a very transformative year, so this seems like the perfect way to start the new year!

  35. Dhani Toney December 27, 2012 at 19:48 #

Oh baby I will manifest this ticket with all my love and goodness!!

  36. Emily wilder December 27, 2012 at 20:12 #

I am inspired to go, to breathe in the love that will be present. As I feel filled up with that love and more at peace, I will shed the layers that bind me, and share my own heart, unencumbered.
If I win this ticket, I will know it is my fate to be there, as I have been open for a sign.

  37. laurie books December 27, 2012 at 20:13 #

I would love to win the tix because I am a new business owner, and I would like to treat my wife to something nice since she has been the main bread winner for the past 2 years. :)

  38. Anna December 27, 2012 at 20:16 #

I am blessed with being 2 months pregnant with my first child! No more all nighters listening to the Djs, but preparing for all-night feedings instead. I’m exstatic that there is a community in Portland that embraces family and Beloved welcomes children at some events so my future is bright. My partner and I are trying to save money to prepare, so a free ticket to Inspire Truth would be a perfect start to this year of pregnancy and one last late night hooray with friends before I’m too tired or full tummied to hit the dance floor. <3

  39. Hot Lava December 27, 2012 at 20:24 #

I’ve only been to March Fourth once, but my girlfriend then got sick (and never really recovered, actually) and we had to leave. Since, I’ve had brushes with them in odd places, but have yet to see them again. It was quite an amazing and authentically corporeal and cathartic (the good kind) experience

  40. Shane December 27, 2012 at 20:28 #

I would love to attend this party seeming as though I have no where else to head for new years

  41. Molly EMMONS December 27, 2012 at 20:31 #

  47. kristen wallace December 27, 2012 at 21:10 #

First experienced March Fourth outside PGE Park. They were warming up for the half-time show & put on the most amazing spectacle, free-for-all passerbyers. Really want to see this show!!!

  48. Sumandhi December 27, 2012 at 21:27 #

I inspire truth, being that I’m a libra I cannot help this. As an artist, ninja, dancer and musician I can appreciate an opportunity like this. Besides, where else can I dare to dress in my fanciest silk gown while I indulging in the best night of the year? If not me, I vote for Molly’s candid response. JohnE has a great story, but I don’t know about inspiring truth. March Fourth inspires us all, and I can’t wait to dance again!

  49. James December 27, 2012 at 22:15 #

Michael Meade alone is worth the evening out.

  50. Colleen December 27, 2012 at 22:21 #

I have had a very transformative year where I have moved and started a new job. I have a lot more to change and this event sounds like a fun way to meet like-minded people. I also have a hot dress to wear and my best friend got a baby-sitter for the night! Thank you for reading!

Thank you for this opportunity to potentially join this lovely community for a beautiful, rejuvenating, and intentional evening! After a tough transition to Portland a little over a year ago I have found friendship and support in the conscious and inspirational community at large. I would love to join and contribute to the event by bringing positivity, an open heart and mind, an appreciation for community, and starting the new year off with love and hope being the core of my intention. I’d like to be surrounded by like minded individuals and continue to meet individuals with similar ideas. Again, thank you for the opportunity and I am sure the evening will be beautiful! Namaste

  77. maya December 28, 2012 at 12:17 #

  80. Alison December 28, 2012 at 12:54 #

I would love to gift this ticket to my beautiful friend, Ariana. She is a hard-working mama who otherwise would not be able to attend this event. I would love to help her out and give her the opportunity to celebrate the new year with her friends and community. Blessings!

  81. Sabrina December 28, 2012 at 12:58 #

I typically do not like NYE, it seems to often be an excuse for excessive debauchery–yet an offering like this, especially held at the art museum seems to have a bit more substance to it.

  82. Erica December 28, 2012 at 13:03 #

    Happy Holidays ;)

  83. Jordan Rose December 28, 2012 at 13:03 #

  90. Garrett Richard December 28, 2012 at 15:54 #

I’m in town visiting family for the holidays from Santa Cruz, CA home of bass music and see none other than four of my favorite headliners playing on new years eve… First reaction: OMW RIGHT NAO!
I was pretty bummed on missing the heavy bass bidness going on in the bay area this weekend, but PDX might be killing it harder this year. It sucks to be away from the bay bass fam, but I’m stoked to check out what Portland has to offer.
PS I’d be wicked stoked to win a ticket, what’s good PDXpipeline, wanna make this the best NYE ever, purdy please with bass blessings on top?

  91. Marijan December 28, 2012 at 16:33 #

Couldn’t imagine a better location for all the art on the audible level bouncing back and forth amongst the visual art and loving vibes. I would be so honored to be amongst this amazing group of souls and to give the same energy back to the event. Inspire, Inspire, Inspire!!!!!

This will be Portland’s loveliest crowd tonight with some special music in a peerless setting.

“You can’t win if you don’t play” works on all levels! I’ve been playing with Peak since Pepperland, but I’ve been at home playing with young children for years now. We would love to reconnect with the phun that brought us home. I say ha!

  104. Lisa December 29, 2012 at 09:07 #

  107. Ruthie Newman December 29, 2012 at 17:04 #

I have just moved my mother up to Portland after a long and labyrinthine journey through many years-we hope to start this new year with beautiful new ways of life-this event would be a perfect way to celebrate as we are both artists trying to have faith in our own abilities to create and thrive.

  108. marklar December 29, 2012 at 17:22 #

I’d go to this! It’s held in an art gallery! And I am art! Walking living being. Plus, if left to my own devices I’ll host my own party, degenerates will come, I’ll end up staying up all night anyway keeping the fire extinguishers out of their hands and cleaning up leavings. Now, warehouse parties are truly the way to see in any new epoch; I’m a believer in this. In this case I would be willing to pretend that the Portland Art Gallery is a barn, which sort of eclipses a wartehouse for cool. I’d do that; I’d go that far. Is anyone else here as committed to such a throwdown? Without calling each person, I’m gonna say no.

  109. Julie H December 29, 2012 at 17:29 #

I would benefit from the ambiance of the Museum! It has soothed me before it would do so again. A joyful celebration of transition would suit me as well.

Would love tickets to this event. March 4th marching band and solovox are some of my favorite local artists. I would be more than appreciative to get the chance to see them and many more amazing artists in the same night. What an amazing place to enjoy music and experience Portland.

March Fourth Marching Band, YES! Party at the Portland Art Museum, YES! Not sitting at home feeling sorry for myself, YES! Possibly meeting Mr. Right, JohnE?, uh maybe!!??

  121. ryan December 31, 2012 at 16:53 #

Piss poor planning equals piss poor results. Unfortunately i Didnt plan this NYE well and tix are now sold out. As the stars align and the elements are just right, I am positive I will be where i need to be, so if the tix are offered I would be, as would my mate, ever so pleased. Plus, with Mike Meade, Andrew Gonzalez, as well as the other artist and the WAY cool Musical line up there is no other place Id rather BE and no other PEEPs to celebrate with than the Beloved crowd. Happy 2013! Thanks

In the last few months my life has been turned completely inside out and upside down & I am in serious need of some healing experiences. This event would be an amazing and beautiful time for me to feel joy and love, if only for a night. Thank you for considering me- I don’t know that I can come up with enough to make it otherwise. Blessings!

We might still try to come if we can afford it but I’m a working student and she’s a social worker so free tickets would be incredible! Thanks!

I am called to this event, above all others for NYE 2014. To be surrounded by such an inspiring community for an intentional NYE is my dream. In fact I had planned it all out. Not having a full-time job made saving difficult, it has taken a few months. After purchasing my plane tickets recently, I was very excited to go to Portland for this event. Imagine my surprise when I got my paycheck today and tried to buy tickets to the event and they were sold out. Disappointed but not dissuaded, I know I will be at this event. Unfortunately I do not have tons of money to buy a ticket above face. Thank you, pdxpipeline, for offering a free ticket to the event; there is a glimmer of hope.

  130. Lilian Wang December 21, 2013 at 12:17 #

So excited! Can’t wait! It would be amazing to win tickets! :D

I would love to attend the Inspire Truth New Year’s Eve celebration because it will be a great way to ring in the new year of 2014! Alex Grey is a great artist and performer, so are numerous DJ’s and many other extravagant happenings going on this night at the Portland Art Museum. 2014 is the year of the horse, and it is my year..I would like to bring in the New Year in a fashion of seeing many great acts and being around awesome people!

  132. Heidi December 21, 2013 at 22:53 #

I traveled halfway around the world to meet an amazing man who lives in the NW. In the spirit of ceremony and new beginnings I would love to bring in the new year with him. Thanks…

  133. Katie Allen December 24, 2013 at 14:20 #

Aaaaaah! Okay. So this event ha been calling to me for weeks, I finally got the money for a ticket the day it sold out, and I’m so hopeful that the universe will provide a way for me to attend…I’m planning on getting down there with or without a ticket to try and find a way. I love all the artists performing, especially Medicine who has given me so much with their music…Alex grey is the artist for Tool, and I’ve loved him and then for about 8 years…my entire life and mindset has gone through an incredible transformation this last year, and inspire truth seem to be the perfect way to celebrate this life, and I’m in a place that’s perfectly receptive to it…I am so blessed and would be so grateful to share in this experience, revel in the energy created by those who offer this space, and the attendees that will honor it and each other… Thank you, I hope to see you all there!! :) love.

  134. Gabriel Green December 24, 2013 at 17:43 #
