The first intra-league bouts of the 2013 Rose City Rollers Home Team season. The Heartless Heathers will face the Guns n Rollers in the first full length bout of the night follwed by the Break Neck Betties taking on the High Rollers in the second full length bout of the evening.
This season opener will be held at Portland’s Memorial Coliseum.
Ticket Prices:
Sparkzone (GA): $20 in advance/$24 day of event
General Admission: $14 in advance/$16 day of event
Jr (GA): 7-12 years old, $8 in advance/$10 day of event

To say this would be fun would be an understatement! I’d take my younger sister if you’d pick me!
Why do I want to go? Because my 12 year old daughter is trying desperately to fit in, and when we went to last year’s championship for the first time, she saw a group of women who were proud and strong, maybe a little different from the mainstream but confident in themselves and bonding with their teammates. Watching the RCR shows her that you can be and do whatever you want, no matter what others say about it. Plus, it’s kick ass.
I really would love to take a break from moving this weekend to go see me some roller derby action. Please, please, please pick me!!!
