Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with full orchestra, choir, and soloists is one of the most powerful musical experiences of a lifetime! This program pairs the Ninth with Benjamin Britten’s Ballad of Heroes, a moving work of three short movements for tenor soloist, choir, and orchestra.  ALL REGULAR PERFORMANCES OF BEETHOVEN’S NINTH SYMPHONY ARE SOLD OUT.

General admission dress rehearsal tickets are $20 (no handling fee). Even though this is a rehearsal, patrons will need to treat it as if it were a performance. Children under 7 not admitted. Because this is a rehearsal, soloists have the option of singing with less than full voice. The dress rehearsal could last until 12:30 p.m. A fifteen minute break will occur at some point in the rehearsal, at Maestro Kalmar’s discretion.
