Wanderlust Circus presents: PYROMANCE, a Valentine’s Day rhapsody in fire, circus, and swing. Featuring our house band THE WANDERLUST CIRCUS ORCHESTRA with members of 3 Leg Torso, Shanghai Woolies, Shoehorn, Juan Prophet Organization, AnnaPaul & The Bearded Lady, & Bhattsi and the release of our first CD – “Joyous Panic”
You may have heard that fire performance was dead in Portland, but we at Wanderlust Circus don’t intend to let that happen. Our old friends at The Bossanova Ballroom have got it all worked out, and we’re putting on the first big fire show of 2013 just in time for Valentine’s Day. Along with all our finest acrobats, aerialists, and dancers; we’ll feature the city’s finest pyromaniac prodigies in two nights of passion and danger to bring you and that special someone trembling into each others’ arms.
The Wanderlust Circus Orchestra provides the live score to this combustible cabaret, forsaking the tribal-industrial leanings of fire shows past for a hotsie-totsie bohemian swing sound from the dark side of the 1930s. Limited table seating is available, so don’t hesitate to snatch one up for you and your sweetie – PYROMANCE brings the heat this Valentine’s Day!
TICKET PRICES
$80 Table for 2 up front
$30 Premium Seats
$25 General Seating
$100 Balcony table for 4

This looks amazing. Id like to attend on Friday and leave Thursday open for a couple who wants a romantic Valentine’s night out instead of an exciting Friday out!
Hello! I am new to Portland, study fire performance, and would LOVE to see this dreamy show!! Free tickets would be a huge plus! I would so, so greatly appreciate it. Love to you all <3
I want to go on the 15th because I’ve already got plans on the 14th to sit home alone and eat a tub of store bought frosting with a spoon while watching P.S. I Love You, and crying myself to sleep.
I’d prefer Friday the 15th. I would love to see it pyro!!! Looks like a great great show
I’ve been wanting to see these guys so bad! 15th would be better but I could make the 14th happen.
Wwould be super happy to actually have something fun and exciting to do on valentines with my boyfriend instead of being stuck at home with our clan of kids under 6.
I would love to take my husband to see this. Our prefereence would be for Friday night because of transportation.
I want to go because it would be nice to sit sipping a cocktail and observing a circus, items on fire and people swinging around that were not happening in my own home! I have 3 boys, I’m outnumbered and I’m very worn out Ring Master in need of a night off! Pick me!
My girlfriend and I don’t have any days off together and I think this would be a great event to bring her to for Valentines Day. We both would love this event.
My hub and I need to get out and take a break from just staying afloat in this tricky economy! A night out would be sooooooo awesome. This looks like such a great show!
Would LOVE to surprise my husband with tickets to this on Thursday or Friday! Sounds so fun…. and considering we met in line for a circus this is only fitting…
P.S. either night would work for us!
I would love to when tickets for either night. I deserve them because I am amazing, and despite (not spiteful) not being able to find Mr. Amazing I will gladly accept going with a friend completely inebriated. And I promise that I will try my hardest to pick-up on every actor I see.
Thank for your consideration
* long sigh- WIN
Amazing! Friday night would be my choice.
I enjoy performances of this type, which is why I would love to be able to go on Friday, the 15th :)
I would love to take my handsome valentine to this event!!! Friday night is our pick. Thanks!!!
Sounds fantastic and so Romantic! I would love to go and see the awesome performances on Thursday. (We have kids Friday night) Pick me, pick me pretty please :)
I would LOVE to go Friday. I’m saving the 14th for my Dad. We lost Mom last year and he needs a Valentine date. (We’re going to see the Navy band preform..I know..but that’s what he wanted to do!)
I want the fire to inspire me, Friday would be amazing. Bring Pyro back to Portland!
This would be a wonderful getaway for me during a week that tends to be a bit of an emotional minefield.
I’m one of the lucky ones — one who has known the best kind of love there is. One lucky enough to have been married to — and have a beautiful daughter with — the best friend I could ever have hoped for. We were meant for each other (our birthdays were even a day apart — mine on Feb. 16, his on Feb. 17!) Each year, we’d combine all three “holidays,” our -bdays and Valentine’s Day, into one big Valenbirthday dinner — he’d even let me eat his lobster ;)
It’s been five years since the industrial accident that claimed his life … and essentially mine. I have a beautiful 7-year-old daughter to remind me every moment of every day of that beautiful man I so miss. Again, I am one of the lucky ones. Some people never get to know that kind of love.
I have yet to enter the frightful dating world, but I’d be estatic to take a friend along for a wonderful evening out.
(I’d choose Friday. Let someone else enjoy it with their valentine on Valentine’s Day.)
Wow…..this looks absolutely amazing!!! I would love to get the opportunity to see the greatness of these talented people!! The night of the 14th would really be ideal!! Cheers!!
Being able to present a valentines day/birthday gift to my partner when I couldn’t otherwise afford it would be wonderful! We are expecting a baby so our money is wrapped up in that and sometimes we forget to spoil ourselves in the process. Everyone deserves to win though, so as long as someone does, I’m happy :)
Happy Valentines Day everyone!
My husband and I could use a great date night! Our son is 4 1/2 months old and we are ready to go do something romantic and wonderful. We Would really love to go Friday night as this is the first Friday he will have had off in over 6 months!!
This sound like a GREAT time!
Circus? Fire? Oh yeah, count us in. We’d count ourselves lucky to go Friday the fifteenth. Thanks!
Me Me ME! Please!
This looks amazing, I would love to go!
This sounds like so much fun! I wish I could win this and share it with a friend!
I would do terrible terrible things to win free tickets for me and a special someone, but I would prefer you just picked me :)
Much Appreciated,
Ethan
I would do terrible terrible things to win free tickets for me and a special someone, but I would prefer you just picked me :)
I’m a broke college student and a hopeless romantic, just need a little help to have a wonderful evening with the one I love!
Much Appreciated,
Ethan
I’ve always wanted to go to a show like this… I really hope to mark this off my bucket list in about 36 hours… :)
Hi Portland Pipeline! I would love to win free tickets to the Wanderlust Circus! My boyfriend loves swing music and I
would love to surprise him with these tickets. I never have anything good to give to him on Valentines anyway and we usually don’t really celebrate Valentines. This would be the perfect gift for the both of us to enjoy for Valentines this year! <3
Make me feel like a kid again. LIving on ramen doesn’t fill me with wonder, but going to this will!
I would love to take my sweetie, he has been working so hard for his family and a night out on me would be such a treat. Friday the 15th would be wonderful. Thank you!
This sounds amazing… hope I didn’t miss the drawing.
What a great way to celebrate the evening with my bride to be. Enjoying pyrotechnics, swing dancing and a great venue. Please pick me.
Friday orThursday
This sounds like so much fun my boyfriend never wants to do anything maybe if I won tickets we would actually have a fun valentines. Sign me up for the 14th please c:
I’d like to go Thursday. I’m 26 and this is the first time I’ve ever been in love on Valentine’s day. But he’s in school, and I’m paying off college debt, and we’re both broke. This, however, sounds amazing, so yes, of course I’d love to go.
This would be amazing and inspiring. Thanks for the opportunity!
(either night would work)
This has me written all over it…in a burning ring of freaky fire. I’m hot for Friday night tickets to this superlative event.
Bring on the passion and danger.
Bring on the three legged torso.
What’s his name?
I have never been to Bassanova. This even looks amazing. I am low on funds and do not have plans for Valentines Day…this would be perfect!!
I have never been to Bassanova. This even looks amazing. I am low on funds and do not have plans for Valentines Day…this would be perfect!! I just had my cast removed on my right leg last week. This would be my first outing without having to use crutches! That would be really exciting:)
I would love to attend this event on valentines day. My husband and I have been married for 14 years and don’t get much date nights. This sounds AWESOME!! Thanks and best of luck to everyone!
I loved going to the circus as a kid (even inspired me to learn how to juggle). This would be an amazing surprise for my girlfriend on Valentines, I don’t think she’s ever been!
This sounds like an amazing show! I would love to go on the 15th since my husband works Thursday night shift.
Sounds fun. I’d love to take my girl out and do something fun. We just moved to Portland and are trying to save money, so we haven’t been going out much. The 15th would be great because she works early during the week.
We would come either night, every night if we could. We have so many children, our hearts and wits our overflowing. We don’t usually do much on vd, except that one year when our Xmas tree was still up and we decorated it with paper hearts; we do revel in eachother daily, and this looks right up our alleys. Pick me and I’ll tell someone that pdxpipeline freakin rocks, like once a week for 2 years.
Are damnit! Arrrrrgh!
Pretty please with sugar on
Pretty please with sugar on top?!
This will be my first Valentine’s day with my fiancee and we never seem to have quite enough money to do anything really fun on this day for lovers and this show sounds like the bee’s knees!
I feel like I’m in a state of Wanderlust and would like to continue that euphoria and share it with my lady.
Awesome for Friday night!
would LOVE (get it!? tee hee) to go to this! and there’s fire!? That means not only my loins will be burning– so win/win if you ask me.
amaaaazing!! oooooo let’s see some sexy fire circus action!
My honey works on the coast and in our 3.5 years together we’ve never gotten to spend Valentine’s Day together! If I win, I propose to give my +1 to another solo person in line for the show. Pay it forward!
Burn baby burn!!!! I would love to come out and support these awesome local artists do what they do best- define awesomeness
I love swing dancing and this show looks amazing!
Thanks!
Michelle
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
This would be a wonderful Valentines present!
My boyfriend is coming into town on Friday (the 15th) so this would be a great way to celebrate my birthday/Valentine’s day. I haven’t been to the circus since I was like 4 so this sounds really exciting!
Oh man that would be so fun! I’d love Togo Friday night
I would love to go on the 15th. My boyfriend and I don’t get out much and I think we would both love to see this show.
yes please
I REALLY WANNA IMPRESS THIS GIRL ON FRIDAY NIGHT, AND THE $50 I’D SAVE WOULD GO TO FOOD AND DRINK. SHE’LL BE REALLY SUPER IMPRESSED.
Wanderlust Circus…what a GREAT way to entice a new date! ;)
Please oh Please.
We’ve had such a year – so many years together – hopefully we’ll make it for one more.
Bankruptcy, foreclosure avoidance, one dreadfully boring 9-5er and another daily job search – doesn’t leave a lot of cash for the coveted “hot” night out.
Fire, smiles and swing – oh yeah.
I want to go to this so badly.
Tonight’s the night! Let’s get it started!
Have you chosen the winners? Im so anxious :)
Man! I’ve wanted to see these guys for a long time now! I’ve heard such great things! I’d be so stoked to go :)
This would solidify my claim that portland is the coolest place to be. Winning would make me feel like a winner. I love my darling man, and fire and swing is icing on that decadent cake. Please let us get away from our 5 kids for an evening. We can’t make a 6th that way.
Ooh ooh, the 15th please. I work early during the week. Sounds like a fun time!
First of all, this show looks incredibly FUN!
Secondly, after almost 25 years of marriage and both of our babies have grown-up and moved out on their own, it would be nice to go out on a date to remind us that we are still an actual couple….and a damn HOT one at that! But we have cooled off a bit. So, your Fire Show looks like the perfect spark we need to get us going again ;)
Did I miss the drawing? :(
Cause I really want to see this.. haha
I want part of this Lusty FIRE on the 15th! Looks very cool!
My darling sister and her wife are so poor at the moment- they could really use this spectacular night out to make them feel better about their lot in life!
