Seattle’s Polyrhythmics is an 8 piece band that touches on funk, Latin, Afrobeat and more in an effort to get folk dancing their troubles away. Horns and guitar build on a solid rhythmic foundation of electric bass, drums and percussion. Recent performances at several of the country’s finest summer music festivals have propelled them to the forefront of groove bands touring the US today.
Polyrhythmics are ready to unleash their music to the world. With live repertoire of over 60 Original compositions, a new 7inch dropping on Kept records incFeb, and a full-length album to follow in the spring, the band is firing on all cylinders. Taking the experiences of a 3-year brotherhood, the Polyrhythmics are just hitting their stride, writing and arranging some of the best material yet and setting their sites on the world stage.
Members of the Polyrhythmics have performed with: Allen Stone, Blackalicious, String Cheese Incident, Karl Densen’s Tiny Universe, The Motet, Sam Bush, Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormans, Railroad Earth, Monophonics, Orgone, Choklate, Pickwick, Fishbone and more..

I would love to see this show because I love the soul of latin and afro music. And it would be lovely to spend my Valentine’s Day enjoying good music with my boyfriend. Thanks.
There’s a good reason I’m at the Goodfoot every Saturday: the stellar music. It’s simply the best in town. McTuff was amazing last Saturday and Jon Wayne w/ World’s Finest brought it the previous weekend. Now you’re following those acts up with Polyrhythmics… Awesome.
Haven’t caught these guys since they played after Furthur at the Refuge and what a party! We raged until 5am. Let’s do it again! (But I promise, I’ll leave well before 5am… unless otherwise requested.)
SUPERFUNK!
I’d love a pair of tickets.

I’d love to see these guys!
I volunteered my time to shoot their performance at Miss. Studios for Stagedive.com. I “fell in love” with this band! They’re soooo fun and funcky! Excellent musicians! I’d love to be able to enjoy their show and get down and boogie!
It’s time to get funky.
would LOVE to check this out! Funky!
Goodfoot is the only place to find something … latiny, funky, afrobeaty … goodfootin’ music … gotta be there.
My boyfriend and I briefly listened to these guys over the summer at the brew fest and we’re looking forward to seeing them come around again. We’d really love to go! Plus the Goodfoot is pretty close.
Latin? Check. Funk? Check. I deserve those tickets because I am both. Latin & funky.
Would love this to be my first OREGON show! Just moved here a week and a half ago! LOVING IT ALREADY! :)
