Outsider pop legend R. Stevie Moore returns to Holocene!

Improviser, composer, arranger, producer, musical conceptualist, comedy writer, vocal stylist, filmmaker, sketchpad artist, drama example, self-taught instrumentalist and bon vivant, r.stevie moore was born 1952 in Nashville TN to famed Elvis bass player Bob. Since ’66 rsm has recorded nearly 2,000 songs on over 400 very original homemade albums of alarmingly idiosyncratic variety and styles, often considered a seminal pioneer in the DIY ethic.

Remaining virtually unknown, he quietly resided in new jersey as curator of his own museum. Until now… back in tennessee. LOUDLY SHOUTING!

I’d like to win because he looks like santa claus and a huge tim allen fan!

My roommate and I are HUGE R Stevie Moore fans, awesome to hear he is coming through town! Would love to win a pair.

Introduced to his tunes by friend who runs a small label out of Olympia, awesome stuff!

    R. Stevie Moore happened upon my ears after I became a fan of his more-publicized friend Ariel Pink. I’ve never seen him live, but if his shows are half as good as his recordings, I’d love to bring a friend along for the ride.

Mr. Moore would be the most fabulous vision in my life since he sounds like my dad and I haven’t heard from my dad in six years and it would be nice to know what it was like to be loved again, but I really am just a sucker for Mr. Moore’s music and I would be really chill, I swear, because he’s the only musician kind enough to say goodbye to his instruments before leaving them unlike other people in my life.

Because I would throw my body in front of a moving train for R. Stevie Moore.

    For real.
