A toast to Pdx pipeline, for finding this event. My wife and I would love these tickets because we truly enjoy spirits and want to support the small batch distillers. Gaining these tickets would allow us to spend that money on more bottles and support the little guy! Thanks.
My man is turning 40 on the Tuesday following and he’d LOVE to mask his sorrows with the help of the tasty craft spirits….responsibly of course. Help me help him celebrate his 40th! Thanks.
Would love to win tix! Really enjoy the local spirits coming out of pdx!
I have been to Europe more times than I can count on my fingers and toes.Oh… I do have all my fingers and toes, hee hee.
I find that Portland offers an eclectic array of wines and beers that matches most European venues!
Ciao, ciao, meow, meow
~James.
This would be such a treat to be able to attend!
The One SMOOTH Event you will love, and so will I.
I’d love to win! I’d like to check out some of the small batch, craft distillers.
YES PLEASE! I would love to get my taste test on.
It’s all happening in Portland.
Need to warm up the old bones!
OMG, please pick me! I need to experience me some spirits.
Fiona needs to get her “flight” on this weekend in Portland. Cherry blossoms & Japanese Gardens are great, but spirits are what ROCK Portland!
I yearn to someday lord over my guests with my comprehensive knowledge of spirits, humbling them with my wisdom as I let them sneak a sniff of my fine, decanted liquors. Nay, they get not a taste, merely a whiff. Free access to the Spirits Revival (did I mention that I love revivals?) will help me on this quest of becoming the Alex Trebek of alcohol.
I went to the Distiller’s Festival a few years ago and found al sorts of great gins. Would love to update my “drink list.”
This would be SO AMAZING. I want to go to there.
I just moved back in to town and this would be an amazing welcome home event to attend!
Would love to go and take my best friend of 20yrs for her 30th bday that is also this week!! We otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford to…
My girlfriend doesn’t drink beer (in Portland of all places) so I don’t get to many brewfests anymore. Would be great to take her and have a taste of some of the greats spirits of Portland and hopefully find a great whiskey or two we can share!
let me not live one day after this if I get to not attend. think of me, think of me fondly. cheers.
Too much time in the beer industry. Need to refine ma palate for some fine distilled libations.
I would love to go to this. I hardly ever get a chance to sample local spirits.
I’ve always been a wine person…would love to learn more about spirits!
Please pick me! I’d love to go!
Toast to this!!
Would love a pair of tickets to celebrate our one year Anniversary (this month) AND (if we win) our first toast since having our first baby!
While I might attempt to try everything, you would not have to worry because I’ll be taking the bus home!
I would really like to try different spirits distilled locally made. If you allow a guest I will bring an award winning brewer from the area who turned me on to the local spirit scene.
Thank you for your consideration. Tom
What better way to say cheers?
I would love to win a pair of these tickets so I could take my sister for her birthday. I was diagnosed a little over a year ago with Hidradenitis Suppurativa, it’s a disease that causes my glands to abscess and because of the pain I am in, I cannot work. My sister found out how bad things had been for me, (in an out of the hospital, surgeries, and because of my disease, healing from surgery takes me months instead of weeks) and begged me to move in with her so I didn’t have to work and could concentrate on getting better.
She is so selfless and kind and does way more for everybody than she should have to at 25 years old. I’d love it if you could help me give her a special birthday so she could experience a day where she could relax and be a little pampered.
I would love these tickets since our family has some amazing friends coming to visit us from Wisconsin. They’re my bourbon-loving friends and this would make an amazing welcome gift.
I hope we win. If not, congrats to those who do. And have a drink on us.
Revive me! Would love to share this experience with a friend or possible date (if I can find one who dares to join me!)
This is a great addition to my list of “Why Portland rocks”
I’m turning 30 on Thursday, the day before this event and my mother’s present to me is a day together all day on Saturday. We would definitely enjoy doing this, considering the two of us love to explore alcohol culture and learn about small producers while getting thoroughly smashed. I think that between the two of us, we have enough reasons to need a fun day of drinking and learning!
My best friend is in town from Baltimore and I would love to take her to this! It would be a fun Portland experience.
A friend and I both work with kids at risk of being amazing…but lots of adult really add a lot of stress to the mix–we would love to toast & taste & be merry!
seems like a spirited affair. count me in.
What a great excuse to drink!
I’d like to win tickets because I have a first date on Saturday afternoon and we’re attending the event regardless. How cool of a story would it be if I could say, “Hey, remember how you invited me to Toast? Well, I won tickets on http://www.pdxpipeline.com.” Pretty cool story for a first date!
The cocktail is a pleasant drink;
It’s mild and harmless — I don’t think!
When you’ve had one, you call for two,
And then you don’t care what you do.
Last night I hoisted twenty-three
Of those arrangements into me.
My wealth increased,
I swelled with pride,
I was pickled, primed, and ossified…

Only greatly crafted spirits are deserving of such beautifully crafted words.
And where can one find such beautifully crafted spirits? At “Toast,” of course!
Wow sounds like a great event!
My fiancée’s 30th birthday is at the end of this month and she is pretty bummed about it. We just moved across the country, so none of our friends or family are here. I think this would definitely put a smile on her face and help her forget her sadness for at least one night!
My boyfriend and I just moved to Portland and we haven’t gotten to experience much of the culture around here yet. Send us to the Revival so we can see why everyone raves about this city!
I am in graduate school for social work and will be graduating in June. This spring break will be the last spring break of my existence. Please help me kick it off right! :) I so need it! :)
I am an avid wine lover and have been wanting to go to this.
This looks amazing. Hope we get to go.
I would love to attend! Rarely do I get the opportunity to taste a variety of spirits. Please oh please???
You know what’s better than buttered bread? Toast. I like toast.
Because I really fucking want them!
New to Portland! Would love to win these tickets and see what Portland’s all about! My husband and I would love to be able to taste local spirits to add to our collection:o)
Have knowledge of the local vineyards but not much knowledge of local distillers. Would like to change that.
Research and networking for our cocktail startup!!! Tasting the awesomeness that is Oregon distilling!
I need to attend as I am a fan of the local distillery scene and I really would enjoy tasting the good since my wife doesn’t allow me the budget that would be required to do this kind of tasting as well as we just don’t have the time in our life to get the baby sitter and do some tasting tours. I just do my best to buy local alcohol whenever I decide to party or refill the cabinet.
I want to go. Why you ask…who wouldn’t, duhhhh
Plus I like food, brew and liquor It’s like heaven for me.
This sounds like a great excuse for a birthday present for my one-year old son….a day with a babysitter :) We need a celebration for surviving the first year!!
I’d love to go to cap off another week of surviving work and because I love tasting all sorts of gin and whiskey.
Scotch, Scotch, Scotch… I love Scotch!
I need those tickets! 1) Because I’ve never been, 2) because I need to explore local spirits like I’ve explored local beer & wine, and 3) because this is one of my rare kid-free weekends that I *could* attend the event.
Spring’s begun; and I’m looking to build up my collection of the finest spirits!
Distilling, the creation of spirits, is to beer and wine what calculus is to basic mathematics!! Would love to be revived..my spirits lifted by getting chosen to attend this event!!
it’s my first year wedding anniversary! we have a babysitter but nothing to do! go figure!
Love to support the great City of Portland! Not to mention we totally enjoy going to all events for our distillers to keep them growing and happy. Anything that helps support our communities and keep jobs in town!
I would love the experience of learning more about these fine spirits so that I can continue on my quest of foodie knowledge, and the best ways to compliment my passion for food is with quality drink.
I have been to this before and had the best time ever! I met lots of great people, tasted a ton of great drinks and also added some new beverages to my bar selection. Had a great time and would love to attend with my family again.
I’ve been looking to try a new variety of spirits and it sounds like a lot of fun.
Tickets please!
i want to go becase
I’d love to attend, but for good reason! It’s my half bday this weekend (haha right?!), who celebrates that, I do!
I’d love to learn more about spirits and celebrate! I will definitely enjoy their labor as I know how much hard work it involves. I want this experience, and can’t afford to go otherwise. And of course, I LOVE PDX PIPELINE!
…seems like a pretty incredible way to celebrate portland in so many ways. smiles for this giveaway!!
To celebrate my fiance’s 51st birthday! Nothing better than supporting the locals!
Taste all the spirits!
Please let me win! I really want to win!
i want to try all the spirits! this would make my weekend A+
I’d love to try out some new spirits!
Who wouldn’t want to win this?
F*ing awesome event. Would love to attend.
Pick me!
dig the opp … giving blood saturday, so presumably the perfect time to partake!
Because.
Because I work hard.
Because I work hard and deserve a break.
Because it would be nice.
Because it would be relaxing.
Because it would be wonderful.
Because it would be a great way to bring in spring.
Because…
I would love to expand the horizons of my craft spirit knowledge!
I’d love to win tickets to this “fun and educational event”!
I drink therefore I am
Sounds like my kind of event!
Everything is more spirited with spirits! Love to learn more about our local spirit scene.
‘twould certainly put me in good “spirits”… sounds great!
Let’s all have a good time at the festival!
I take my toast with honey.
I would love to go to this because after a week of mandatory overtime I need to booze it up this weekend!
yes, please!
I’ve never heard of this event! Sounds like an absolute blast. With all the beer and wine festivals I figured there had to be something out there for us spirits drinkers. Would love to win tix to this! Crossing my phalanges!
My grandmother’s drink was bourbon; my mom’s is a whisky sour…and after many years of appreciating wine and real beer, I find that I’m…a whisky and spirits person! Hubs and I are pretty new to the area (we hail from the east) and we are all about the local. We seek it out and appreciate: in Gold Beach, for instance, we enjoyed local gin and vermouth in one of the most refined, classy (and enjoyable) martinis ever. We’ve made a point to pick up local spirits where and when possible. Yes, we’d love to attend this event!
its me and my sis’ b-day weekend and it would be a very sprited birthday event! Cheers!
I love tasting events!
What a cool event. I would love to learn more about spirits as I am almost exclusively a wine/beer drinker.
Because I love craft cocktails!
could really use after this crazy week….
I would love to treat my main man to this event!! He’s about to have a birthday this weekend and has been having a hard time since losing his Father late last year. It’d be a nice evening out in a gorgeous setting in downtown PDX:) Thanks!
Yeah, I never win anything (except that time I was single and won a romantic dinner for two…that worked out) I will do my obligatory post hoping I will be selected.
Born near Chernobyl and raised in the states, I, all of my life, have been brought up on fermented potatoes, now it has come time to demur the cliché and attain a classier fixation.
This sounds like an awesome event and winning tickets would be a great belated birthday event!
yes please!—My husband has spent the last 3 months taking care of me after having surgery to remove a brain tumor—he deserves something fun to take his mind of things
OH my god, I need this so badly! I have just been crushed by one of the heaviest terms of my education career ever!! This will bring the happiness and joy I need to smile and laugh and dance again, let it be so!
I am so happy about this I will write a limeric:
For beer booze and strip clubs,
to Portland there is no rival,
but for the ultimate fun,
you don’t need any sun,
just the Portland Craft Spirit Revival!
I rest my case :)
Can you say yes please. Friday night, downtown and tasting some of the best spirits from around the globe. Count me in.
Because in addition to this being an all around incredible-sounding event, I love good liquor, but never have the $$ to try any of it. You could fix this!
Want to win a pair of tickets because my partner promises to take me home when I start thinking everything said around me is hilarious.
It would be fun to check out all the new spirits that have come out recently.
PLEASE !!!!!! I cannot drink beer, so distilled is for me!!!
The 23rd is my 30th bday, this sounds like a killer way to spend it!
Yeah, I never win anything (except that time I was single and won a romantic dinner for two…that worked out) I will do my obligatory post hoping I will be selected.
I would love to take my brother in law to this to thank him for the support he has given me with my new job and new life change.
I want to take my friends!! so fun!!
It’s been a dreadfully long week and this girl is thirsty.
Since I don’t live on this coast anymore (damn good grad schools being on the east coast), I never get a chance to hang out with my brother. I’m home for just a few more days, and this would be an awesome way for he and I to spend his birthday!
This is awesome, I love my city!
I’ve only experienced vodka and the whiskey scene could change my life
“It’s been a dreadfully long week and this girl is thirsty.” – Alicia
You heard you she’s thirsty!
“It’s been a dreadfully long week and this girl is thirsty.” – Alicia
You heard her, she’s thirsty!
sounds like an awesome event! pick me!
Oh my goodness! Life sucks lately and I’ve been hitting the sauce a little harder of late. This would be purrfect!
There’re local spirits other than Hood River Distillery? I must know more!
Will the rum be served by pirates? Pirates have the best rum. But if the tickets are free, I’d let non-pirates pour it. I can deal.
My wife and I moved here in the fall, and we have been on the official spirits tour since. It’s been great, and Portland has introduced us to our love to whiskey! It’s my birthday this weekend (no,really!!) and what an awesome experience it would be to get to go and talk craft with all these distillers! (Sadly..it’s hard to find a job in pdx..so this would/could be so great of a gift!)
Oh dear god, my husband and I are in the middle of trying to figure out our taxes and we need to DRINK! Like seriously DRINK! And god knows we can’t afford to buy our own booze, because we’re going to have to give all our money to the feds… help a sister out and hook us up with some drinks!
Imbibe me, supply me,
in the end you’ll see,
ive only one need…
please, oh, please
Revive me.
Mmmmmm . . . Booooozzzzze . . .
Sounds awesome.
Spring break in pdx, I need some liquid sunshine please!
This would be so much fun, can’t wait!
Just finishing up a 65 hour work week and this would get me out of the dog house with my wonderful wife. We love spirits and have never been to this event.
Been helping a buddy hand bottle a ton of local spirits. Maybe karma will cash me out so i can take my other half to a great event!
Lets take a step back from the mass produced and popular spirits we find at all the bars and try some of the smaller and guaranteed to be BETTER distillers out there. Add that to local PDX food carts and you can’t beat this event! I would love to go and be able to tell all my friends about my new finds!
Fun and Educational- just how I like my booze!
This sounds like a really great event, I would be rather spirited about going.
Sounds like a fun thing for my 3 day weekend.
My boyfriend just lost his job, and he really needs a pick up. This would be such a great way for us to have a fun time out, without having to stress the cash. plus we just love craft spirits… i mean, who doesn’t. hope i’m not too late.
This would be a amazing gift for my gf and me. Our anniversary is around the corner and what a fun outing this would be! a great memory in the making. I hope its not to late to join the drawing.
Lift my spirits!
Winner winner…whiskey dinner
This is one of those rare things that makes Portland Portland.
my spirits would dance a jig to taste some spirits this weekend.
Here’s to women’s kisses,
and to whiskey, amber clear;
Not as sweet as a woman’s kiss,
but a damn sight more sincere!
Perfect for a weekend activity with a friend!
I’d love to go as my husband is a sommelier & I was a bartender before MS put me in a wheelchair. It’d be great to do this together!
I love booze.
. . . Thats all I got.
CHEERS,
Meg
