Kastle
The popularity of bass-heavy dance music is spreading like wildfire across the world, with many producers crafting their own styles of dubstep, grime and garage. In the city of San Francisco, CA DJ/producer Kastle has cultivated his own style of bass-heavy beats with a soulful twist. The name itself implies a fortress, a personal space that is used to cultivate a long-time love of hip-hop and R&B and fuse it with the magnetizing effect that dubstep, garage and bass-heavy music has had on Barrett and, really, the various communities of underground electronic music.
Guttstar
Portland, OR based Guttstar (Güttstar) is by no means your traditional producer. Louie Armstrong once ushered the advice “learn everything there is, then throw it all away and just play.” In an age where electronic music has shed the stylistic shackles of it’s youth and all cultures have been made mutually tangible a sonic artist is emancipated to use all the world as their palette. Guttstar has done just that.
Solovox
Solovox is the one-man dance party creation of music producer Carl Tietze. Original tracks and remixes are performed live and by hand…don’t call him a DJ. But he doesn’t really care as long as you shake your ass.
The Great Mundane
Based in Portland, Oregon The Great Mundane takes listeners on a journey exploring the complexities and intricacies of his minimalist and innovative approach to beatmaking. He invents fractured, heady instrumentals laced with lush synthesizer work that navigate the terrain of forward thinking hip-hop and electro/house, all while exhibiting genuine emotion and talented production skills. Each arrangement is collaged with friends, found sounds, synthesizers, and samples meticulously programmed to convey what it might feel like to fall in love with a tree, travel through a wormhole, or to never be bored again.
Mr. Wu
Mr. Wu is a DJ, designer, promoter, screen printer, ninja holding it down on the Westcoast. Whether shaking dance floors or making mixtapes, Mr. Wu’s multi genre DJ sets are sure to take the listener on a sonic journey. He has shared the stage with artists such as Random Rab, Blackalicious, Love and Light, Gladkill, Russ Liquid, Thriftworks, Mark Farina, Zion I and many more. Mr. Wu is a co-producer of Curve, a bi-monthly slamming party in Portland. He also hosts his own events under the name Rythmatix presents. Find him mixing music and slangin’ Rythmatix clothing all over Oregon and beyond.
Mob.Echo
Mob Echo is the DJ moniker of Aaron Bikis and Mischievous Productions. Specializing in melodic, ambient, bass driven social distortions, he procures an amalgamation of both the serene and the surreal. With tasteful and unique anarchy, Mob Echo’s vision expands beyond dance music to the collective horizon of artistic communalism.

I would LOVE to go to this! why?
My partner and I are smack dab in the middle of a 21-day spring cleanse. We’ve both been hurting units for the last 10 days; aching bellies, migraines, body aches, nausea and feeling like we’ve been dragged through the mud.
Thankfully, day 10 has marked the turning point and it looks like the energy is returning! Feeling exstatic, happy, unbelievably energized and glowing from the inside!
We want to celebrate the amazing way it feels to be healthy, happy and loving life by getting our groove on this weekend at a party that glows as much as we do!

I am a ranking board member of the Professional Fun Havers Society and I need to come ensure that your event meets the quality control standards of our very serious organization. We are very very serious about having Fun. Anything substandard to our expectations will call for immediate remediation from the rest of the available board. Judging by the write up of your event I don’t think there is any cause for concern, but just in case, the other members have been pre-notified to be in attendance should the need arise to increase the Fun having levels.
