The Stumptown Comics Fest is the biggest creator focused comic book show in the Pacific Northwest. We’re an all-ages event that allows fans to connect and talk with their favorite comic book creators. In addition to our hundreds of exciting exhibitors, we will have a large variety of panels and workshops for comic fans of all ages. The Stumptown Comics Fest has always focused on compelling creators and comics as a storytelling medium of all genres and for all ages.

We’re proud to bring you publishers like Dark Horse Comics, Oni Press, Top Shelf Comix, and other well-respected comic book publishers. Being the 10th anniversary of the festival, we’re happy to host the largest number of guests in the festival’s history. Guests include Fables creator Bill Willingham, Eisner award winning artist Becky Cloonan, multiple award winning writer Greg Rucka, as well as some of the countries premier comic book studios like Periscope Studio and Tranquility Base.

With over 25 special guests you can be certain you’ll have a great time. In our 10th year, the 2013 Stumptown Comics Fest promises to be our biggest and best festival yet. Please join us at the Oregon Convention Center as we celebrate all manner of stories and adventures in comic book form!

    I love the silver age and the new styles in the graphic novels, and would like get all ‘BOOM’ ‘BAM’ ‘POW’ at the comicfest.

    PLEASE PLEASE.. I would love to take my fiancé to same great comedy.
    Due to finances and our children moving back in temp, we have a houseful a d could really use a break away lol..
    We have only moved to Portland less then 1 year ago, and have yet to check any of the local comedy out..

    I usually follow Seattle Pipeline but I will be in Portland the weekend of the Stumptown Comics Fest I checked out PDX Pipeline. I It will be my first trip to the city, and I have been told that I should not miss this event if I want to get the feel for Portland – so far the closest I’ve got is My Own Private Idaho & Portlandia…

    in the last year i got my boss, an extremely voracious reader, into comic books. she has since torn through probably a third of all the comic books it took me much of the last 30 years to digest. she would love to go to this festival and it would give me more help in finding new things for her to read.
