What are the odds of winning tickets to the one and only Portland Rose Festival?? currently: 1:40.. I’m terrified of the ferris wheel but if I win these tickets, you better believe I’ll take the chance of being stopped directly on the top to see the view this festival will create

  43. Lisa May 22, 2013 at 15:42 #

I would really love to win, I work for a non-profit and help needy people who need medicine get free medicine every day, but although I love my job, as a single mom with six kids, I simply cannot afford to do things like the Rose Festival :( My kids would have so much fun if I was able to take them and make this magic moment happen. I have never been able to take them and haven’t gone since I was 19 years old, now I’m older than that but its been almost 20 years or so …. :) So pick me!

    • michelle May 23, 2013 at 16:12 #

She should win if the story is for real. I work in a nonprofit and have one child I can’t afford to take. I can’t imagine having six times 7 dollars entry and rides. Budget blown for the rest of the year.

  76. Kristen Kohashi April 1, 2014 at 22:29 #

I love the Rose Festival and CityFair!

Even now that I’m over 20, I’m still a big kid at heart and love the game booths, greasy fair food, animals, and of course the rides! I usually go with a dedicated group of my friends who are also hard riders and we laugh and scream and spin until we get sick — and then we take a breather and ride some more.

I go every year, and winning tickets would be such a treat, especially since it would allow some of my lower income friends to join us this year. Thanks PDX Pipeline for the opportunity!!!
