What The Festival received glowing reviews and critical acclaim from all who attended the wildly successful inaugural year. NBC News Entertainment dubbed What The Festival the “Millennial Generation’s Woodstock” and Resident Advisor cited the event as “remarkable,” commenting on the “impeccable sound quality” and the combination of “outdoorsy flair with more than the usual amenities,” calling it “a camping festival with emphasis on comfort, ease, and organization.”
Featuring over 60 of the world’s most vanguard electronic bands, producers, and DJs spanning a diverse range of genres, there will surely be something for everyone. Offering five unique stages, each with extremely high quality sound systems and visuals, attendees will be guaranteed a very well rounded experience.
On top of the music and art, WTF provides numerous Micro-Experiences that really set this event apart. The Splash Pool + Stage is a major highlight for people looking to have a good time in the heat of the afternoon summer sun, as you can see from the video below. The Pool Stage will feature bigger production with even more programming this year, including aDecibel Festival Showcase Pool Party and more!
Other exciting Micro-Experiences include a full service Hookah Lounge, Tea Zone, Oasis Showers and Sauna, Private OMG Lounge, Workshops, Photo Booth, Marketplace, large-scale interactive art, comfortable chill zones and much more. A new addition to this year’s experience is the Opulent Temple, an iconic sound stage from San Francisco. After 10 years at Burning Man, the Opulent Temple is bringing their “raw, unexpected, full-bodied and visceral” sound and art to WTF.
For attendees looking for even more luxury, the OMG Experience and many Boutique Camping options are available. OMG passholders will receive access to the private OMG Lounge with its many surprises throughout the weekend, early entry into the festival, passes for showers, hookahs, and more. The Boutique Camping options are perfect for those flying in from long distances and include fully furnished Safari tents with optional air conditioning and more.
What The Festival takes place July 26-28 at Wolf Run Ranch, Oregon, 2 hours east of Portland and featuring lots of space to stretch out, spectacular mountain views, incredible trees, nooks and crannies to explore, and much more!
