The Northwest’s own “concert rock violinist” will return to Downtown’s First Congregational Church to celebrate the thirteenth year of holiday concerts on Friday and Saturday, December 20th and 21st. Aaron Meyer will perform three shows with his six-piece concert rock orchestra featuring renowned guitarist and producer, Tim Ellis. The concerts will be a mix of traditional Christmas favorites and original compositions infused with Meyer’s unique blend of classical, progressive rock and world music influences.
The Concert Series features new performers for the 2013 event that include the renowned Steve Cannon Horn Trio featuring Renato Caranto on sax, the child-talent Rebecca Loprinizi on violin, and young vocalist, Jordan Bailey, who recently turned 11 years old. In performance for the first time at an Aaron Meyer Holiday Concert will be the spectacular pipe organ that is the centerpiece of the First Congregational Church venue.
