  • you’ve never practiced yoga
  • you’ve been practicing yoga for a little while but don’t really understand what you’re supposed to be doing
  • it’s been a long time since you’ve been to the mat and need a refresher
  • you want to know more about following your breath in a vinyasa style yoga class

I just finished physical therapy for a car accident I was in over a year and a half ago. I would SO love to get into this. I’ve been looking for a studio. :)

    • Skylor March 25, 2014 at 13:34 #

Hi Sara! I’m sorry to hear about your car accident. I’d love to be a part of how you rebuild. Feel free to reach me through the website above if you have any questions about the series!

  2. Tzaddi Bondi March 25, 2014 at 11:30 #

I’m a teacher. I work 12-17 hours a day. I don’t exercise. I’ve lost myself. Spring Break just started, and I have decided … no, mandated, that I get my butt moving! It’s time to work on myself! :) In the last three days, I’ve gone snowshoeing, bike riding along the Springwater Cooridor, and hiking in Tryon Creek. I’ve always heard that yoga is good for the body, mind, and soul. I could use some of that goodness!
    Thank you! :)

    • Skylor March 25, 2014 at 13:33 #

wow! you’ve been so active Tzaddi! With that many hours of work you most definitely deserve something to chill your brain out and move your body. Feel free to reach me through the website above if you have questions about the series – it sounds like it’d be great for ya!

i’ve never been to yoga but i’ve always wanted to. Most of my friends do yoga and when they talk about it i feel embarrassed that i have never taken a class. i ache a lot and have an awful reach and feel this kind of stretching would really help me.

    • Skylor March 25, 2014 at 13:03 #

Hey Liza! That’s EXACTLY what I’m going for in this series. Embarrassment free yoga :). I’d love to have you participate. Let me know if you have any questions, you can contact me through the website (sprouthealthlifestyle.com).

  5. Maggie March 25, 2014 at 12:49 #

Need to be peacefully inspired and learn how to breathe through plank, chaturanga, and upward facing dog movements. Thank you for this opportunity !!

    • Skylor March 25, 2014 at 13:02 #

Hey Maggie! I’d love to help you out with that. I focus strongly on breath in classes. I’m sending out a questionnaire to all attendees to get a clear read on just what all participants are looking for. If you enroll be sure to include the piece about chaturanga so I know to cover it closely! You can contact me through the website if so!

  11. S. Leighton March 27, 2014 at 11:40 #

I have been looking forward to starting yoga or pilates, but I’m a little nervous to start. The beginner part of this is very exciting.

  18. Jamie March 27, 2014 at 15:56 #

Oh my gosh, yes! This is exactly what I have been looking for. I am very interested in practicing yoga but am just starting out and don’t know where to begin. This would be the amazing kickstart I need.

  19. Laquinecia Miller March 27, 2014 at 17:22 #

I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for the past 5 months. I had my first born son this past October and needed something that would help me snap back to my old self. Doing it on my own with a DVD I purchased before labor, has not been working out for me too well. I would love to have an actual instructor teach me the right way to mold my body into what I need it to be.

  20. Caitlin March 27, 2014 at 17:31 #

Yes! I would love to try out Vinyasa.

  21. Bianca March 27, 2014 at 18:12 #

I’d like very much to do the Vinyasa yoga beginner series– but, having lost my job a month ago, I can’t afford anything but life’s bare essentials. I don’t get to buy myself a thing! So I’m hoping I’ll be lucky and my name will be drawn. Having had multiple surgeries over the course of the past two years, I need the centering, health and focus that i associate with yoga. I hope to get a chance to try it!

  22. RC March 27, 2014 at 19:05 #

bend me, shape me, any way you want me

  23. Julie March 27, 2014 at 20:41 #

Seven years after I was hit by a car, I’m still having a lot of pain and stiffness. When I *do* go to yoga, it helps a lot. I know I badly need to get involved with yoga again. This would jumpstart my efforts at feeling better!

  24. anne March 27, 2014 at 22:51 #

I’ve been doing yoga for years, though sometimes that just means touching my toes in the mornings or remembering to take a deep breath between sips of tea…I’d love to re-create a routine for myself, and know that going to classes would help me a lot with that.

  25. Kimberli March 28, 2014 at 05:49 #

Because I REALLY need to do something new. I’m a runner but I need to change my life a bit. Thanks! ;-)

  28. Krysti March 28, 2014 at 10:59 #

I was very deep into my yoga practice over 4 years ago and then I let life, and work, and stress, and weight gain derail me. I am ready to find my love of yoga again!

  29. jessica March 28, 2014 at 14:55 #

I would love to get back into yoga but can’t really afford to now. Want to find a new great studio too.

I’ve been through cancer and life’s been sucking pretty hard for me. I am always tense and could use some help with flexing out my muscles and learning to breathe.
