Potatoes in the washing machine. A sawed-off shotgun. Astrocartography. Back-biting. A kiss on the cheek… all these woven together into a story theater show that promises to be memorable and historic as we bid a fond farewell to Hipbone, our beloved home for the last eight seasons. Always a potent blend of vulnerability and heart, this is story theater that is: Exhilarating. Energizing. Empowering.

Urban Tellers: Daniel LaForce, Steve Parker, Angela Bailey, Beth Weissman, Phillip Schlachter and Jeff Burke.

The show runs about 2 hours with intermission. Admission always includes free hors d’oeuvres! Beverages are available for purchase when the doors open at 7 p.m. with wine $6, beer $4 (21+)

Get your tickets today. This show is sure to sell out! General seating tickets are $20 at the door, space permitting.

=====================

Our Process: Everyone who participates in Urban Tellers has taken our workshop, The Art of Personal Narrative. These are people from our urban community – people just like you – who have worked to discover and craft their stories. No notes. No lies. No memorized scripts.

Listener Discretion Advised: Portland Story Theater’s stories may contain “colorful” language, sexual escapades of a questionable nature and numerous examples of extremely poor judgment, along with profound insights, deep revelations and moments of truth, triumph and transformation.

Image Waiver: Videos, photographs, and audio clips are taken at all performances to be used for future promotional material. By attending this event, you are giving permission on behalf of yourself and/or each person in your group for Portland Story Theater, Inc. to use your image/audio clips for the sole purpose of future promotional materials without compensation or further permission.

=====================
