DJ Spooky is an amazing DJ who I still have loaded up on my 2nd Gen. iPod. In addition I love sample art and the concept of sampling nature and sequencing it electronically is extremely interesting to me. It is something I have always been interested to try myself, but never invested the proper portable microphones to do it. I would love to see what Spooky has planned!

Have not seen this guy perform since he was remixing Birth of a Nation (the first reincarnation, around 13 years ago), very curious to see how he’s evolved with such different source material and presumably advanced tech….

Wow, damn, I got into this dude in the late 90s when what he was doing was then dubbed “illbient”. i hate to admit it, but I kinda forgot about him for a while, but he influenced me in a lot of ways, and I still remember a lot of good altered states of consciousness with his music. He’s an intelligent dude and I’m sure this is gonna be a pretty sweet experience.
