THE THIRD ANNUAL PORTLAND MUSIC AWARDS, JANUARY 28, 2010 AT THE  CRYSTAL BALLROOM, ANNOUNCE FINAL NOMINEES AND ONE OF THE HEADLINERS FOR  2010'S EVENT

Today the PMAs are announcing platinum-selling  singer-songwriter Meredith Brooks will be one of the headliners at the  third annual Portland Music Awards.  Other confirmed performers  include: Sony recording artist Becca, 1979 #1 hit maker Andy Armer (who won  a Grammy with his song “Rise” and wrote and performed piano on recordings  for Herb Alpert), Boy Eats Drum Machine, Amadan, The Kingsmen, Nancy King,  3 Leg Torso, Wanderlust Circus, Joe Powers, and Third Angle New Music  Ensemble.

The third annual Portland Music Awards, presented by non-profit The  Portland Arts Foundation, will take  place January 28, 2010 at the Crystal Ballroom. Tickets will be $25.00 and on sale via the Crystal Ballroom box office  and Ticketmaster, and will be on sale around Thanksgiving.

They are  also announcing the final nominees, determined by over 44,000 votes cast at  http://www.portlandmusicawards.com.  Last year's PMAs received over  22,000 votes. Todd Meisler of ZD Design, LLC built a Ã‚  program that automatically tabulates votes as they are submitted, deleting all votes that are made multiple times from the same IP address (one vote per computer).
