The Xhurch, a performance and arts space in NE Portland, will be hosting the Alien Nativity– an otherworldly, non-denominational celebration of spirituality and galactic othernessin this holiday season. Mingling ancient mythologies with the idea of the Baby Jesus as ¬Å“The Initiated Self,¬Â the Alien Nativity is an irreverent celebration of the sacred, the mystical, and the absurd.
Friday, Dec. 23rd will feature a 7pm performance of Earth & You, an annual performance by local musician Bryan Free slowly developing a theme over the course of 35 minutes, utilizing layers of vocals, keyboards and percussion
