2010 Bend Brew Fest back! Bigger and better than ever!

After taking 2009 off to revamp the event, the Les Schwab Amphitheater in conjunction with Big Lava Concerts, Shops at the Old Mill District, and Monqui, present the 6th Annual BEND BREW FEST, the largest event of its kind in Central Oregon.  A staple in Bend's summers, proceeds of the event benefit Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Central Oregon.

The 6th Annual Bend Brew Fest opens its doors Friday August 20 at 4 pm till 11 pm and on Saturday, August 21 from noon until 11 pm. Entrance is FREE.

The Festival is focused on the tasting and enjoyment of fine craft beers, and brings together some of the best beers in the US, with a special focus on Oregon's product, plus a selected group of International brews, from traditional types, to new flavors.

Activities for all ages are planned. A fine selection of food from local vendors will be available.

A $10 one-time purchase of a 2010 souvenir mug, which includes four tasting tokens, is required. Mugs from previous years will not be filled.  Tasting tokens are required for beer purchase.  A token costs $1 — sold in packets of five — and will get you a four-ounce taste. A full twelve ounce pour equals four tokens.

Minors are allowed on the premises when accompanied by a parent or guardian until 7pm each day.  Only ADA animals are allowed.  Photo ID is required for those of legal age wishing to consume.

Volunteers are needed.  In addition to a great time, you'll receive a festival mug, tokens and a custom printed shirt. You must be 21 years of age.  Apply as soon as possible in order to receive the shift you want, as preferred shifts go early.  Please contact The Les Schwab Amphitheater at (541) 322-9383 or by email at bendbrewfest@rocketmail.com.

No matter what your age, patrons should be prepared to show proper valid and non-expired identification in order to gain access to the festival. Valid ID includes an Oregon Identification card, any state driver's license or ID card with photo, a passport, or a United States military identification card with photo.

As a parent or legal guardian you are allowed to bring your children to the festival with you. At the admission gate, you will be briefed on the Oregon laws pertaining to minors consuming alcohol. You will be asked to sign a pledge acknowledging your responsibility of preventing your children from consuming alcohol and the penalties for you and your child. Children 20 and under will only be admitted with parents and guardians; boyfriends, girlfriends, cousins, other family members, etc. are not acceptable.
