Multnomah Days is approaching–Join the Parade! We need YOU to complete our mobile art installation. MAC’s entry in this year’s parade will transform Capitol Highway into a vivid ocean scene made from recycled materials. You can participate in two ways: either help out at one of our crafty work parties or simply show your support and enthusiasm for art by representing MAC in the “biggest little parade” right here in Multnomah Village.
The Parade: Line up at 9:15, parade starts at 10:00 a.m. August 21st.

Hi – I live behind the Key Bank. RIGHT behind the Key Bank. I absolutely LOVE Multnomah Days. But I have to say, now that it’s 10 pm, and I’ve been basically sitting on top of live music all day (and I’m a musician!) I really wish the blues band wasn’t in the keybank parking lot. I’m tired – would love to go to bed – or even sit on my patio and chat with my husband – but I can’t, because the live music is so loud.
Couldn’t you put it at the Arts Center – so it’s not RIGHT on top of some people’s houses? I just walked down there (yes, 10 pm) and there are about eight people sitting and listening. But those of us who live right here have no choice – and I’d really like a choice to have a quiet evening.
I know – you’re going to say, “but it’s Multnomah Days and it only happens once a year!” Yes, but one morning, afternoon and evening is enough – must it continue basically right in our back yard until after 10 pm?
I love you guys, love the village, but after fourteen years, I wish this part of the day (which is only being visited by a very small number of people) would move location next year.
thank you-
Nancy Teskey
