"ROCK FOR KIDS 2010"
On August 21st 2010, at the Hawthorne Theatre, 3862 SW Hawthorne Blvd, three NW bands will crank it up and rock the house for one common cause: "Our kids". Two for One Promotions, in cooperation with KFBW 105.9 FM The Brew, presents the second annual " Rock For Kids 2010"; a benefit concert for Trillium Family Services' Parry Center for Children.
The line up includes:
Motorbreath; America's Ultimate Tribute to Live Metallica. This group of talented musicians has played all over the Pacific Northwest, Montana, and Nevada. They've captured the true spirit and sound of early Metallica from "Kill 'em All" to the "Black Album". Motorbreath leaves the crowd wanting more.
Shotgun Overdose delivers hard rock originals and classic rock favorites with a hint of punk. This band does it LOUD, straight up, old school, and in your face, just like Rock & Roll should be.
Jar of Lies Portland's own Alice in Chains tribute delivers old school rock from "Facelift" and "Dirt" to current top 10 hits from the new "Black Gives Way to Blue" album. Incredible vocals, complicated guitar and drum riffs creates an impeccable doppelganger for the real thing that pulls you tight to the stage and applauding for more.

All proceeds to benefit the Trillium Family Services' Parry Center for Children.
