Dawn of the Day of the Living Queer

The Queer Resource Center of Portland State University has announced Dawn of the Day of the Living Queer: a free LGBTQQIA pride event happening all afternoon featuring entertainment by Tender Forever, play/start, and NO/HO/MO. May 19th, 4pm to 9pm in the Park Blocks by Smith Memorial Student Union.
This event will also include a resource fair with information from Portland State University community organizations and information from the surrounding community such as CAP, SMYRC, Two Spirit Society, Outside/In, SheBop, In Other Words and more. Workshops covering topics like Introduction to Writing Erotica, Trans 101, Inclusive Safer Sex Practices, and Access to Higher Education will also be held before and after the event. Food will be provided by Dog House as well as other local food carts.
