-An Award Winning Community Awareness Concert and Dinner in the Dark!
Come dine and enjoy a concert in the pitch dark with your friends. All the servers will be blind. There will be a delicious gluten-free vegetarian/vegan meal prepared to delight your senses with love by Portland's own Chef Ivy Entrekin.
Your heart and mind will be opened as you discuss issues related to blindness, celebrate and explore spacial awareness, indulge in unencumbered music listening without the distraction of social/visual conditioning & your cell phone, build community, make new friends and advocate for a better life for the blind community…all with your servers and fellow patronage in the dark.
Rosh will deliver an outstanding concert with his band, 'Rosh & One Eye Glass Broken'. And…YES there will be puppies for you to meet! A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to support PAWS, Pups At Work For Sight a local organization that raises puppies to become guide dogs.

What a unique way to introduce this sensory experience! I have discussed practicing the temporary removal of certain abilities for a week at a time- like trying being deaf or tying you arm behind you back. I;d love to be at this dinner if i wasn’t so poor. any sliding scale avail? i would bring a date.
