Want something fun to do to break up your day? Do you want to feel like you’re part of a community? Are there times you just can’t help but sing? Join us at the Visitor’s Information entrance at 3pm tomorrow, 2/9/12.
After NBC’s announcement regarding Community’s winter hiatus, fans have been concerned/worried/upset about it’s hiatus and potential cancellation after this season. In response, there have been 2 flash mobs, one in NY and one in LA, and a silent disco to promote Community and show NBC we’re not going down without a (figurative) fight.
On February 9th, we are organizing an National Flash Mob Day for Community. So far there are going to be flash mobs in Austin, Orlando, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and, of course, Portland.
We’re going to sing ‘Somewhere Out There’ which was sung by Troy and Abed in Environmental Science when trying to get Fievel out of Greendale’s vents. If we have enough people show up, we’ll try to split the song between women and men.
