Join the Hillsboro Community Youth Choir for ¬Å“Caroling, Caroling Near and Far¬Â for a global Christmas adventure! The concert includes traditional carols and unusual seasonal songs from around the world.
Hillsboro Community Youth Choir, a non-profit group open to all kindergartners through high school students living in Washington County, includes more than 50 youngsters from Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Cornelius, Banks and Beaverton. Included are two auditioned choirs, as well as two non-auditioned preparatory choirs. HCYC performs throughout the school year in both formal and informal settings.
The group's artistic director is Cindy Uecker, who is also choral director at Liberty High School and has more than 30 years of choral education and conducting experience.
