'The Eyes of the Rainbow'

In this film, Assata Shakur tells her story of being a leader in the Black Panther Party and in the Black Liberation Army, and her political exile in Cuba since 1986 after her escape from a U.S. prison. Her story can be linked to the current struggle against targeting of activists, Muslims, and immigrants by the FBI.
A Latin American buffet, with vegetarian option, will be available at 6:00 pm for a $7.00 donation. Everyone is welcome!
