Doors open at 7pm, with select Jean Painlevé films from the Criterion Collection’s SCIENCE IS FICTION, along with a set by DJ Michael Sean. Catch up with friends, grab some drinks while we create the mood, and then at 8pm HOUSEFIRE editors Robert Duncan Gray, Lindsay Allison Ruoff, Riley Michael Parker, and special guest Kirsten Alene Pierce will read original pieces of science fiction written specifically for the event. Finally, our musical guest Curious Hands will be playing a set, ending with their song “Science Fiction”.
