Singing Sirens, Shimmying Sweethearts and Scintillating Sounds all await you January 23rd-the opening night of Portland's newest Burlesque revue The Royal Tease.
Hosted by Sadie LaGuerre of The Wanderlust Circus-The Royal Tease features an astounding array of Portland's finest musicians, dancers and entertainers on the stage of the all new Bossanova Ballroom. Evoking every era but our modern one this monthly show aims to revive the long gone standards of the dance hall and supper club and serve them up with a modern twist.
Portland Burlesque stars Tana The Tattooed Lady, Charlotte Treuse and Holly Dai join the ample talents of Miss LaGuerre. Aiming to be far more than just a "girlie show" The Royal Tease also features bellydance queen Najwa Verraad, The Good Time Girls as "The Bossanova Beauty Chorus", star Ringmaster William Batty and the incomparable Carl Solovox manning the bandstand.
The Royal Tease further distinguishes itself by featuring special guests from The Wanderlust Circus and headliner burlesque stars from far and wide. Our January show brings L.A.'s muy caliente starlet La Cholita! Not satisfied to have the delights end at the stage, The Bossanova Ballroom has designed star studded cocktails and dinner service for your further pleasure.
