Join the Sierra Club for a 70's/80's costume party in the spirit of having a little fun leading up to the most important hearing regarding the fate of the Boardman Coal Plant at the Pubovlic Utility Commission on June 23rd.
1979 was the last year that Oregon did not have a coal plant. The Oregon Beyond Coal Campaign, seeks to make 2014 a year where, yet again, Oregon will be without a coal plant, but this time it will be for good.
So break out your best disco or 80's wear and join us for rocking good time!
Winner of the best costume contest will win a $50 gift certificate to East Burn.
Free drinks and snacks (and Widmer beer for those 21 and older).
