First Thursday, June 2 | 6-10
Lobby of Wieden+Kennedy (224 NW 13th Ave.)

Exhibit B: Fields of Work is the second in a series of collaborative exhibitions devoted to the making of insightful content about human built systems. This collection of visual case studies focuses on the processes of industry and the practice of work along the Columbia River and Willamette Valley. The exhibition design features furniture by wood craftsmen Delaney Kelly. His tables, platforms and large leaners provide surface for the typography, portraits and images of work which make up the exhibition.

The exhibition also marks the launch of Justin Gorman and Tyler Kohlhoff’s annual and sequential publication. This project’s release, Exhibit B: FieldWork features photo edits and stories from the three case studies, Rinella Produce, Foss Maritime Shipyard and Afton Field Farms. An essay accompanying the piece entitled, ‘After the End of Work’ written by Victor Moldonado examines what what work will come to mean in the future.
