From film photographer Christina Weber's incessant wanderlust comes Mix, a selection of works sharing the sights and scenes she's experienced in her travels throughout the west. Pearl Audio Video, 1038 NW Johnson, is hosting the First Thursday opening reception benefiting The Jeremy Wilson Foundation. The JWF is dedicated to helping uninsured and underinsured local musicians and their families in times of medical crisis.
Christina Weber, Photographer is donating 50% of her art sales from the exhibit to The JWF, as is Cupcake Euphoria who will be baking up a delicious assortment of goodies. Onscreen Imaging has also offered to donate a portion of their sales from their photographs of the event. Wine is being provided by Eola Hills Vineyard, and everyone is welcome to mingle and enjoy the sweet sounds of Pearl Audio Video's hi-fi systems all for a good cause.
The Jeremy Wilson Foundation
The Jeremy Wilson Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping uninsured and underinsured NW area musicians and their families in times of medical crisis. The Foundation also aims to aid musicians and their families in obtaining day-to-day health care through education and referrals to assist them in acquiring adequate healthcare and insurance. The Foundation's namesake, musician Jeremy Wilson (The Dharma Bums, Pilot) formed the foundation because of his personal experiences with the need for adequate health care. And because of the great outpouring of goodwill he experienced from those that have helped him through his own trial these last four years, he wants to pay forward the same goodwill to others.
