Habitat Book Release and Art Exhibit

This March, Floating World Comics are proud to host a release party for Dunja Jankovic's second book published by Sparkplug Comics, Habitat #2. Dunja will be exhibiting collages, prints and original pages from her comics. For this occasion, Habitat book will have a CD included, hand drawn by Dunja, featuring Habitat soundtrack made by Portland based music artist Toning.
Dunja lives a double life between Portland and Croatia. She received a BFA from Fine Art Academy in Zagreb, Croatia and a MFA degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She has been publishing comics and illustrations for the last 10 years in various magazines ( TimeOut NY, Diamond Comics, KUSH, Stripburger), books and anthologies and has exhibited her works in countries around Europe and US.
Lately she's been working on multiple art projects, collages, animations, space installations and music. Her comic Department of Art, published by Sparkplug Comic Books, was nominated for the Ignatz Award in the category Outstanding Comic.
