Sculpture Exhibition @ PRESENTspace

The inaugural exhibition of PRESENTspace is sculpture by Micajah Bienvenu and Julian Voss-Andreae. Both artists create three dimensional works which reveal the hand of the artist while still utilizing computer technology.
Micajah Bienvenu creates large, non-objective work, suitable for public art. Many of his works have made their way into public commissions and corporate collections. His fluid style provides an amusing elegance and sense of wonder and joy to the viewer. Bienvenu lives and works on Friday Harbor in Washington.
Julian Voss-Andreae is a German-born sculptor based in Portland. He studied both painting and physics at universities of Berlin, Edinburgh and Vienna. His sculpture is influenced by his background in science, capturing the attention of multiple institutions and collectors. Voss-Andreae's work has been featured in several publications, including Nature and Science.
