Get funked out in a New Orleans fashion and dance the night away with this legendary funk drummer and Portland’s best improvisers!
A $1 donation gets you a raffle ticket to win prizes supplied by various vendors (arts, crafts, jewelry, Mt. Tabor concert tickets). All donations go to support the family of Barry Hampton.
Special Guests include: Reggie Houston (Fats Domino Band), Steve Swatkins (Juno What?!), Vince Black (Black Uhuru), Solomon Albert (Femi Kuti Band), Daniel Lamb (March Fourth Marching Band), Farnell Newton (Soul Train Awards/Bootsy Collins), Errick Lewis (Doo Doo Funk All-Stars), Taylor Aglipay (March Fourth Marching Band), Joshua Birns-Sprague (Mars Retrieval Unit), and Brandon Woody (Woody, Wiseman, & Sprague).
The evening’s House Band will be Average Leftovers, with Nathaniel Daniel, Demune, Joe Hall, Kyle Owen, and Colin Ward. Digital Art by Taylor Schwartz will be on display.
