Max Ribner (flugelhorn) has been popping on the PDX scene for the last few years with artists/groups such as: Mel Brown, Devin Phillips, Keegan Smith, Lilla D'mone, Goodfoot All-Stars, Ryan Montbleau, Shook Twins, Saratone, and Medicine For The People (who will be headlining).
Known to play without shoes, Max gets funky, channeling deep tones down to the bones. The music is spiritual, groove-based, Latin-inspired, with a tint of New Orleans. Medicine is a positive group of multi-instrumentalists focused on getting you dancing and living in the moment.
