September 12 & 13: West Linn Arts Festival

WEST LINN ARTS FESTIVAL

The 10th annual West Linn Arts Festival celebration.  At the beautiful Willamette Park in West Linn. Original art, delicious food and a great variety of entertainment.  Highlighting community participation.  Showcasing the West Linn High School student art show and silent auction.  Proceeds to be donated to the high school arts department.

When: Saturday September 12th 10:00 to 6:00 2009
Sunday September 13th 10:00 to 5:00

Where:  Willamette Park 1100 12th street West Linn, Oregon 97068

To get to the festival, take the West Linn 10th street exit #6 off I-205 and travel several blocks south to the park.  Follow the signs.

Who:  Featuring in the artist's marketplace 100 of the best artists from around the North West.  Works of art in all mediums to admire and take home.

On Stage:  Throughout the weekend, talented musicians and singers here to entertain.

Including a variety of entertainment from the local community.

Details: West Linn's Willamette Park is a hidden jewel to be seen.  Where the Willamette and Tualatin rivers meet, the park offers something for kids of all ages.  Community involvement will make this the art show to see. The West Linn high school student art show will host a silent auction.  With one of a kind art generously donated by our featured artists.  In 2008 the West Linn's Art Festival raised over $1700.00 that was donated to the high schools art department.  Come bid on the art and support our kids!

2009 will offer activities for kids of all ages.  In 2008 the Festival was a great success, held in Willamette Park it is the perfect setting for your family and friends to come for the art and stay for the day!

New for 2009: A parking shuttle service will run in the local area every few minutes, all weekend to deliver you directly to the park and return you to your vehicle.

Also an art pick up point will be located at the information booth at the entrance to the park.  Drive right up and pick up your artwork.

Cost:  Admission to the festival is free
