MFNW Party Greyday Records and Music Millennium will be hosting a free day party during MusicFest NW, The Voodoo Donut Backyard Bash (NOTE: this is an independent event, not part of the festival).

The party will be held on Friday, Sept 18th, in the parking lot of the NE Sandy Voodoo Donuts, from 2pm-7:30pm, and will feature 6 bands (first goes on at 3pm), live art, local vendors and craftsman, and a free tasting from Ninkasi Brewing.  The party is free and all-ages!

Portland's Patrick Porter will hit the road this October on an 8 month US tour!  The tour is packaged with renowned comic book artist John Porcellino, whose collected works are being published by Drawn and Quarterly, and will be in support of Porter's recent A Swan At Smiley's (released by us earlier this year) and his upcoming collection of poems, For the Birds, which is being published by Apples In Stereo bassist Eric Allen's new imprint.  The tour will be held in venues, bookstores, and Comic stores across the US in various legs, the first of which is pasted at the end of the email.

Portland recording artist, filmmaker, and puppetmaster John Larsen's first LP, Judah, is now available in our online store and digital outlets worldwide!  Larsen's predecessor to Kismet has been cleaned up from the original 4-track master and include a full digital booklet of the original artwork!
