THE GREEN RENAISSANCE FAIR

When: September 19 – 20, 2009 (Sat, 11am-7pm & Sun, 11am-6pm)
Where: Holladay Park, NE 11th Ave & Holladay St, Portland, OR
What:  The Green Renaissance Fair is a celebration of the cultural Green Renaissance and will showcase the technologies, arts, and information of this exciting green age, while providing education and recreation to the public.

Expert public education presentations from: DEQ, Gordon Westfall from the Center for a Sustainable Today, Mary Jane Parks from Principle Power, Plan-It Earth Designs, Andy Noel from REC Solar, Oregon League of Conservation Voters, Patrick Quinton of the Portland Development Commission and founder of CarFree World, National College of  Natural Medicine, Portland State University Sustainability Department, Oregon Governor's Office, Associated Students of Portland University on the Power Vote, Miller Grant and PSU's EcoWiki, Peoples Food Co-op, and Councillor Rex Burkholder.

Music and entertainment provided throughout the weekend by: Aztec Dance, Schickey Gnarowitz, Klezmer, Sneakin Out, Patrick Lamb, Notes from Underground, March 4th, School of Rock , Marv Ellis, Willie Matheis, Mel Brown, Tim Acott, Barry Hampton and the Triple Grip.

Organic and sustainable food and beverage vendors and other entertainment such as circus acts and interactive art installations as well as a green fashion show will all be part of this extraordinary event being held in conjunction with the launch of TriMet's Green Line Max Train. Please join us!
