Join us on National Train Day to meet notable train artist J.Craig Thorpe, see the 4449 Steam Engine and other train equipment on display, be entertained by the Rose Festival Character Clown Corp, and receive information on trains, railroad history, model trains and lots of destination cities that can be reached by taking Amtrak.
Stay for entertainment including Gadget and Cha-Cha the clowns. Prizes will be given away throughout the day, including a grand prize trip for two to Vancouver, BC on Amtrak Cascades along with a two night stay at the Westin Grand, Vancouver and a $125 credit to use on attractions, events and more, compliments of Tourism Vancouver.

Here is the perfect opportunity for steampunk wannabees like me to explore the steam engine and all its power. What if we never invented the gas engine? Besides, TRAINS. Trains are just so cool.
